I've noticed through playing adventure mode that things seem to rarely pass out, even with tons of artery damage and limb severs. Makes fights last longer than they should, in my opinion, since the massive bonuses to combat only apply when they're fully unconscious.

The easiest way would be drowning your char and then using the Sherlock guy in the character creation room to spawn near someone else. IE my hearth secret is VIVIT, so if you tell him VIVIT you'll spawn near me (and Shades)

Or you go to someone else, but we are fairly advanced (we have a mansion with a cellar, and these things are a pain in the rear end to build, and Shades gets hi-q stuff from god knows where)

There is no way telling where you are. You can travel to Brodgar, but you might not even have enough AGI for that. It's just you in the wilderness, baby, but you could try to match up your surroundings with the main grid map.

Ah, alright then. I supposed that he had something to do with it. I'll just create a new character and do that.

So I've started out in this. I've begun the grind and have learned fishing (but don't have a fully equipped fishing pole). I spawned in some place called "Macomb" and I have no idea where on the world map that is. How would I go about joining my fellow Bay12 people?

This is already how the wound system works.

Thinking about the issue of rotating boats... perhaps it could be implemented in such a way as boats would only be seen in one of the four cardinal directions? As in, say, adventure mode, you go to the dock and pay to go on a voyage. You see the boat, sure, and can walk around on it, but when it disembarks you go to the world map view for the duration of your voyage. It would stay in this view unless the ship were attacked (pirates, sea monsters, horrible storm etc.) and then it would switch to the normal map view  with the ship displayed in one of the easy four cardinal directions (until the catastrophe is averted)

I'd say that this makes large boats a quite bit easier on the implementation side, while allowing the player to still construct his own ships and walk around on them as an adventurer, so it's not too bad of an abstraction, I'd think.

Very interesting stuff here. Crafting was... unexpected. But appreciated, since I still have not gotten a single hat (other than halo).

Excellent! I can't connect to Steam right now, but it sounds great.

I am very excited for this! Steam id is Gaulgath. Maybe we could play a few skirmishes?

Won't you need Hamachi to do this? It only seems to support LAN play.

Aren't we already a full team without him?

Yeah, I'll join up with Team 2.
