This ends up giving me more utilities and is overall a better solution.  Though it doesn't solve the problem directly, it fixes my issue.
Thank you, very much!

I actually need a bit of assistance with this tileset.  I'm eager to use it, but installation following the provided instructions produces a problem;

While Dwarf Fortress runs, it does not do so in a playable state.  After installing version 43.03-r1, the latest iteration of DFHack, and the latest iteration of There Will Be Text!, I do as instructed and simply paste over the 16x16 TWBT version of the tileset and apply the Multilevel view options to DFHack's init file.

The following is all that renders for me,  I don't have the slightest idea what is wrong.

What is the solution?  What is even happening?

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: Window Size, and Grid Size Issues

This is here it gets bizzare, though. If I used 80:64 as a grid size, I am using 16x16, idiot me forgot to specify, everything seems to scrunch up in the top half of the screen. And if it doesn't do that, it cuts off halfway past the screen.

I guess what I'm trying to accomplish is being able to see more area in the screen. Not make the actual tiles (or characters, for ASCII mode) bigger.

DF Gameplay Questions / Window Size, and Grid Size Issues
« on: January 09, 2010, 01:50:26 am »
Hokai. So I've been playing Dwarf Fortress for a while, now. Getting into the swing of things, when I believed it would be a good idea to grab some Graphics Sets. After something like two days of frustrated init tweaking, I finally find an answer on the Forum, that relates to a size I'd like.

I found that a window size of 1280 by 592 works wonders for windowed mode, and works only with a grid of 80:36 but is there any way to make 1280 by 1024 look just as nice? What would I have to do to find out the required grid size?
