Gypsum powder in hospitals.

Don't know why, it just drives me mad.

This'll be alot easier had someone taken the initiative to step up and maintain this. If anyone of you would be as generous enough as to doing so, I'm sure the entire community would be grateful.

I have already done this. We'll be making a release in a couple of weeks. There will be other people involved as well.

Uploading the whole program is not necessary, and not a good policy anyway. Uploading a single config file is fine, but not everyone knows what to do with that file, or where to get it.

I don't pay for the wiki bandwidth, so I would not like to assume it could be used for this.

4
Unfortunately, anything that can be abused will be abused. It could work if there were central control over the data that was being uploaded.

Edit: I'm going to have a bath and consider implementing this.

Check to see if Qt and/or the apps .pro have exceptions turned off.

On a decent fort it is doing a scatter read/write on almost 500 megs of ram.

Cache-poison tastes bad. :(

Ooh, new feature :)

How would you feel about this being integrated into Dwarf Therapist?

Devek, no offense to you or the tool, but i simply have no idea at all on how to use it. what does it allow me to do actually and how can i make it work?

At the moment it is pretty much useless, it is just a proof-of-concept.

9
Sounds great. I could help with the gui work if you are interested? If not, I will keep testing for you.

10
Yep, that works (with 31.11), very nice :)

What are your plans for this tool?

Edit: FWIW, I closed Foreman, then DF, and DF crashed on exit. Doesn't really matter.

You want to put the fixed version up now? I'll try it on 31.12 as well, looks like very little changed from 31.11 so it may just work.

Just updating the checksum to 0x4c4c32e7 works for me on Windows.

13
No worries, looking forward to testing it out when you get it done.
