Yeah the sewers tend to be more boring then deadly for me, but I make a point to have high spatial sense and good dodge so it turns into a drag trying to manuver and finding things down there takes eons. Took me forever to figure out how to get into the sewers and now all I want to do is get out ;_;

Runesmith hasn't been updated yet? Then no. You could create a custom race, make them incapable of having civilisations (so you're the only one) and use the natural skill tag to make yourself legendary in everything.

Are there any sort of guides for creating custom races that you would recommend? Because personally messing with the raws from scratch gives me a headache?

Dodged off a cliff, fell about 15 z-levels before crashing in a river. The only time I didn't take swimming skill.

Oh god that happened to you too?

I'm traipsing around a bandit camp looking for a leader who apparently turned tail and bolted when I killed two of his men and is now nowhere to be found.

Nevermind, bogeymen jumped me in my sleep, kicked my thumb and then caved my head in.

A section of the skull has collasped!

;_; I started out with an iron long sword and slept in the wild for weeks before they even showed.

Weirdest thing I ever saw was when I spawned I had 10k speed, then I moved a tile and it went down to 1545 =(

I'm not a code junkie so...

1. Mod the race to only make and use steel/adamantine/whatever level equipment and your adventurer of that race will start with it.

2. Probably. IIRC there are unused tags in the raws for fire and frost.

Ah that could work, I'm a complete noob when it comes to editing this stuff so I figured I'd try and then I looked at it and found out I had no idea what I would even do to start messing with that.

Also any idea how I would go about doing either of those things cause I have no idea.

Not entirely sure this is the right place but here goes.

Is it possible to edit the raw data so that you can start with better equipment?

And is it possible to edit weapons to give yourself a weapon with unique properties like a sword that has dragonfire attached to it so it burns whatever it cuts?

What a reckless behaviour! Didn't you read the book from Strugatsky about Stalkers? If someone suddenly dies for no apparent reason, don't touch his body or equipment, just run!

Yeah I guess not, one of my friends had a guy die and turn into a hair crown though, and he seemed fine upon picking that up.

Well not wet with rain anyways, covered in a ton of blood? Yes. But like I said the dragon blood wasn't on the burning parts. Also no I didn't drink it, I didn't think that would be a smart idea. It happened once in the fortress and then a few days later walking around another one.

You're probably in a very hot area, which is causing the blood to heat up.

The courtyard of a castle is very hot?
The biome around it could be - Just ask the game to tell what temperature it is, i cant remember what button it is, though its in the keymaps.

Thats a good point. I still claim it was the dragon though, superheating the clothing, cause it stopped when I took off the stuff on those areas, and I'd never had a problem with bursting into flame in that castle any of the other 50 times I was in there.
