Yes actually doing a cut and paste of this script works just fine.

These are amazing!  But I'm an idiot.  How do I cut/paste into the DFHack console?  Normal ctrl+v doesn't seem to do anything.

They're getting rained on or hit by a cloud at some point.  When you embark dig in RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE.   Make sure there is no way for rain to get down any stairs to them.

If I have water fall through a grate, is mist generated?   Working on my first mist generator and I want to have water fall through 7 levels of floor grates, generating mist on each level.  Will this work?  Thank you in advance!

Lots of towers and volcanoes would be awesome...  I basically want to find an embark that has a little of everything.  Been researching worldgen for a few hours now and still have little clue.  All my worldgens stop at random times from year 130 to year 170, even tho END_YEAR is set to 1000...  I don't understand.

Well it's summer now and he still will not touch the axe.  Luckily, a Master Woodcutter immigrated, so the point is moot.  I'd still be really interested to know what caused this for future reference...

I've been playing for about a year, dozens of forts...  I've never run into this and I'm sure I'm missing something obvious because of lack of sleep.

Just started a fort minutes ago and began digging out areas.  Designated a bunch of trees to be chopped.  I have one dwarf with Woodcutting enabled.  He has "No Job".  I have one axe.  He will not cut!  I enabled Woodcutting of each other dwarf in turn and they merrily take the axe, cut down a tree, and I try the next one.  Except for the original dwarf, who simply ignores my instructions.  I though maybe he hated copper, which the axe is made of, but no such luck...  What am I missing?

Please smack me with some wisdom.

Oh awesome, it looks like objects laying around are working!  Great job!

This utility gives me reason to actually build cool looking structures in DF, thank you!

Try playing in fullscreen.  My newish system chugs in windowed mode but never even slows down in fullscreen.
