I super love that world gen. That in 3 days is impressive!!

Thanks,  I'm happy with how fast it's going,  today is going to be a bit slower because I need to do some things I don't know how to do :(
But today I'm hoping to get the water level and textures to generate better,  then going to play with scale and size of everything,  and hopefully I can get Mountains done by tonight.

Then tomorrow is Desert / Swamp / Lakes / Rivers.  Will post progress whenever enough is made to change the look of it enough to show off. (probably every day for a while)

One possible cause; are you numbering the vertices in reverse order on the messed-up triangles?

I ran into this issue, when making this thinger in Unity. Not sure how you're doing this, or if UE4 does it this way, but the winding order of the vertices can determine a triangle's facing / normal. Basically, you want the verts in a given triangle to be assigned in clockwise order, relative to wherever you want the face / normals to be pointing. It's easier to illustrate than for me to convey it in words, but I hope this makes sense!

Yeah, that's how I ended up fixing it,
This tool I'm using has a part about being able to define the normals with a vector, but that wasn't working, even though that is supposed to over write the original orientation,  I was trying to get that to work for a while before I decided to just have the verticies generate in a different order,

Today I made a 3D worldgen in Unreal Engine 4, started on it last night, so it's still in it's super early stages,

I can't get the normals on half of the polygons to face the right way for some reason,

There is a Kickstarter for this game "A Pug's Life"  I played through the demo and really enjoyed it.

You play as a pug, a "Grub Relations Executive" in the local bee-run honey factory.




The game has a unique art style I really like,




Anyways, the game is doing a kickstarter right now, it's about half way funded, and about halfway to the deadline.
You should check out the kickstarter, the demo is on there, I enjoyed it.  If you've got nothing to play and like adventure games you should give it a try.  I'd really like to see this game kickstarted,
