Hi! Always me! :D Sorry to bother again

For... different reasons I now use Linux so i've lost everything. And I am a total noob in linux too.

Is there this modpack updated for this platform? I have searched and only find some older links.


edit: someone told me about wine. nevermind, it seems to work

Hi! returned to say thanks for the explanation.

When I read about "custom regions" I wrongly assumed all the advanced custom generators were "modded" and stable, so the only rule was "do not use the vanilla, non customized, worlds".

I will use the "named" advanced generator from now on, thanks again!  :)

I was using the medium region in fact.

I successfully generated a world stopping the generation at year 380ish after a lot of tries, but at least, i now can play :D.

it seems to crash at random, so its something history related, i guess

Thats beautiful and all, but the worldgen is broken :(

I'm trying wanderlust right now, don't know where to search for errors, So I have placed the errorlog

it simply say "Impoverished Word Selector"

using DAIII War and Mythos [44.09][v37][Wanderlust]

hi! i'm trying you modpack and a question hit me.

I've always read about those "legendary dwarves" civilization, but i never understood what differences they had against "normal" dwarves.
If I understand correctly, those "different civilization" (elven rangers, human figters, and the dwarves) are from a mod, but I don't seems to be able to find the differencies with they normal counterparts.

Any tips on where to find those information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Hi! good work with this mod, loved it on 43.x!

I'm trying to merge this mod with the modpack "meph tileset" on 44.5. If i understood correctly, most of the creature modification can't be simply merged with copy pasting the raw folder, and because meph's modpack adds other mods creatures and changes CREATURE_TILE: etc, so I should need to modify those creature for your joint system and different skin and bodypart that you can obtain in advnenture mode.

I'm afraid its too much work for me (i dont really know shortcuts that could make this process less tedious), and was wondering: Is there a way to implement ONLY the craft system of this mod, without modding the raw and the combat of the rest of the object folder? I've found reaction_adventurecraft, but with my extremely limited experience I doubt pasting only that file could work :P

I use brackets, it has a double view with differences where I can simply click to revert.
So, correct me if I'm wrong, I'll just replace what that mod adds (different body parts, instead of vanilla body parts, and recipes) while mantaining your tiles. right?

Neothanos, I had a look at adventurecraft. If you drag&drop it, it will destroy everything, panic, chaos, random black holes appearing. Don't do it. You need to manually take the changes from the text files and merge them with the tileset files. A lot of work.

ok. I'll try to do it for the greater good, manually checking file for file. I'll try to mantain your tiles, and adding the rest. Wish me luck >:D

Hi! Dropped from a long time of lurk for saying... good work! I'm pretty excited to play with this pack!

One question. I want to implement adventurecraft (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=153036.0)
And that require a merging of raw. Do you changed something that could require a manual merging, or I can simply paste adventurecraft in your pack? I don't have much experience with RAW editing, so any advice would be appreciated

i was using the arena metod, as explained on the wiki, but i think i made it, now.
I've switched from fort mode to adventure REALLY FAST, and only a cat was killed. if no one attack when i am in the arena mode, all is fine.

now i've returned from a quick walk outside and returned in arena mode. The other dwarves are listed as "friendly", but not part of the fortress anymore. well, i can live with that, i think.

i'm making a note: everyone is ostile now.

ahem. Yes, i've switched but seems that now my stray dog scares my dwarves. Oh, and the dog is the only that survived when i switched from fort mode...

is there a way to fix this problem?

edit: and when i want to regain the fortress, i lose the game
