I found a kid in hospital with mangled left hand. So, I looked around for blood.

Found blood spattering in the minecart repeater room, on the track, and a dwarf trying to scrub it off, but failed because the minecart interrupted him.

The cleaning dwarf then decided a minecart repeater track is a good place to take a nap. Before the minecart was stopped...

The dwarf survived.

Both, I have to micro manage the burrows because everyone is in militia and prefer to individually train during the down time despite more pressing need.

So I have to let them train for a few days to fill the martial arts need, then remove the barrack from the "R&R" burrow so that those dorfs get to their praying and drinking.

My fortress has dwarves pumping out children at reasonable rate (one every a year or two). Though I did do the 'matchmaking' to get the few largest meanest dwarves to br.. marry.

But after that I don't do anything special to them. But my fortress got around ten something days fort wide vacation every season which everyone spend their days very close together, training, praying, and getting drunk.

Well, considering the tavern is full of booze, months old  blood, and pus, and has very poor ventilation, I doubt inhaling rum would make it much worst...

But too bad even DFhack cannot help it.

Also, I'd really love/hate to see poison works. Love it because I could make my army/adventurer even nastier. Hate it because a scratch from goblin/kobold could be serious then.

I have a tavern with automated mist generator. Mist makes Urist happy.A

But you know what would make Urist happier?

Alcohol Mist! Mist of finest rum!

Is there a way to make them? I know it is impossible in vanilla, but what about mod or DFhack?

As for your question, I believe I saw something about launching creature in cage using minecart, cage, ramp, and fortification in the masspitting section of the wiki.

The pop is 123. 30 regulars, the rest are militia which only train 3 months a year.

The fortress is 2X years old and I use Giant axe blade/legging smelting exploit.

Having the whole fortress on vacation month once or twice a year help a lot. Burrow everyone in temple/bar/bed for a month.

Though this doesn't fix the problem as I still have to expell some dwarf, but the number of dwarf needed to be expel reduced a lot since I adopted the policy.

Forgot that I saved during a siege. I loaded in and didn't activate any defense. Got maybe 60 human soldiers running all over the fort before I noticed it.

Thankfully everyone is on militia program and can defense themselves (and aways walks around in full steel armor and weapons). The fortress lost only 2 children.

Just finished a killing dome, trapped zigzag corridor, and washing pool in preparation to breach the circus... Still don't dare breach it though. I'm running at ~20FPS already.
