Actually I was partially wrong, skills should be correct in "Dwarf Details" or in the dwarf tool-tip, but grid views needs to be updated too. If you check the tool-tip over the "Gelding", you may read something like "Gelding - Competent Musician", so the skill you see is actually "musician".
Oooh, I had already figured that out, just assumed from the post that Grid View had been fixed as well.

Skills are supposed to be fixed. Did you install the modified game_data.ini?
Really? They are still a bit scrambled for me. I put the game_data.ini file on Dwarf Therapist/data. I did notice it didn't overwrite anything. I have the latest Dwarf Therapist version from the Releases on Github. Am I supposed to be using another version?

I'm using version 5.84 included in version 0.43.05-r05 of the Lazy Newb Pack.

Download https://github.com/mifki/df-twbt/releases/download/v5.84/twbt-5.84-win.zip, unpack and copy all dll files from 0.43.05-r1 folder to hack/plugins folder.
Thanks! This fixed both problems.

Is there anything in stderr.txt?

There is this. Btw, i'm not Michael Madsen, i would guess that is the author of the pack:

For some reason clicking on the "Enable DFHack" button does not turn on DFHack. It is stuck on "NO".
Having the exact same problem.

For any other keybindings, they're stored in a file called dfhack.init in the Dwarf Fortress folder for all the scripts and plugins. Standard keybindings are under data/init folder iirc but there's less call to look up those, since the in game menu is more readable.
That's how i ended up learning the autobutcher one, an invaluable tip nevertheless

Anybody knows what the keybinging for autobutcher is in this pack?

Edit: Sorry, didn't knew it had to be done from the animals screen. If anybody was also looking for it, it's Shift + B

Utilities and 3rd Party Applications / Re: Stonesense: New release!
« on: September 02, 2013, 09:54:06 pm »
Just got pointed at the advancements being made here and it's amazing. Both the idea of having stonesense being a "tileset" and the more high quality sprites by Caldfir. Just want to give support to you guys.

Siege forces follow learders which some times can get stuck or caught in traps. If the leaders fly them it's worse AFAIK.

And only now i notice i typed his name wrong all the way up there. LOL.

Meph, for the sprites do you have a list of creatures you need the most? I'm thinking about doing some but i don't know where to begin.

1 - Food will be much harder to get. The first tip every noob will need is to plant aboveground crops because they will be harvest each season while the underground ones will only be harvested once a year.

This being considered any other source of drinks and food will help a LOT your fortress. Blood for bloodwine and boozebelly goat cheese are some options for drinks.

2 - If you know how to avoid the bugs with hivekeeping (they are DF bugs, nothing the MW developers can do about them) it can be extremely useful. Not only bees are a source of drink and food but you can get venom and silk from spiders and red dye from cochineals (still have to confirm, i know they give bags of cochineals and wikipedia tells me they are used to make red dye, but i have no idea if that's what they are used for in MW and if that is implemented).

I noticed i can't make mead in a Brewery, is this intended?

EDIT: Also, i got an Iron Guardian of Armok, the manual says i can spawn him at any spawn location. What is "Spawn Location"? How do i spawn him them? Is he going to be friendly to me?
