EDIT: Is there any point to watching the floating blue card cutscenes that appear during some levels?
I've watched some of them but they all seem to be conversations of no real importance.

Jesus. A random boss fight turned what would have been a fifteen minute 3 floor run into spending 20 alone on the first level.

EDIT: ALSO, while I continuously continue to post nothing useful in this thread, one more question. Are there any more patches after the 20GB download? Other than the English stuff, that is.
Some of the english patches have to be updated, but using the Arks Layer thing in the OP, there are no other patches I had to do.

Get Guy to shut up before he attracts more things. Toss a body in that room to appease whatever might be in there, then get the hell out and try to find some other area to explore that doesn't have monsters in it.

Get away from the doorway with the DMR ready to be fired in case something aggressive shows up. Motion for the others to do the same. If nothing else shows up, check that unlocked Samsung for information.

Loot corpses for weapons first. One shotgun and a pistol for a pocket, including a sling or a holster if I find any. Inspect corpses to see if I can figure out the cause of the deaths (though I think it's already been said a gas killed most of them). Take any potentially useful items, such as backpacks, food, bandages, electronics that could hold information, etc. if I find them. Then stand off toward the side, near the walls.
