Utilities and 3rd Party Applications / dfhack seems to prevent becoming vamp in advmode

I have had this problem about not becoming a vampire in adventure mode after drinking vampire blood, but it seems that this only manifests when I have dfhack running in the background.
This could of course be just coincidence but I have turned to a vamp in adventure mode many times and it has never once failed when I don't have dfhack installed, but when it is it hasn't worked for once, after several attempts.. Does anybody know if there is a specific plugin that could cause it?
The tweaks that are enabled from the start are
stable-cursor, patrol-duty, readable-build-plate, stable-temp (x2), fast-heat (x3), fix-dimensions (x4), advmode-contained, fast-trade (x2), military-stable-assign, military-color-assigner, military-training (x4) and no extra scripts as far as the console is to be believed.
