Hello! This discord is for people to come in and talk about the greatest game ever made! For people to tell stories, organize succession forts, and generally chat with like minded dwarfs! We also help new people learn the game, and have a feed directly to all the Dwarf Fortress Reddit posts.
This discord was sadly created after me and a few others witnessed some toxicity, and racial slurs being used in the other Discord. After talking to the admins and discovering that this behavior was not only allowed but condoned in certain channels made it clear that this was not a properly moderated environment for a community this great.
We are also of course supportive of any form of Dwarf Fortress content and provide news on the game, and promote anything from art, to streams, to videos.
