Masterwork DF / Still unresponsive after 30 min of computer time

so ive embarked as humans, cause i had to make a new world as succumbi were lagging my game to death literally
so now im back with humans, and waiting half an hr now, and still unresponsive, any way to make it even a little faster?

welp apparently dorfs didn't make it outta world gen sadly, they succumbed to white tigers, *mancers, and something else. Is that normal?

Masterwork DF / quasi crashing on embarkment

so i go to fortress mode and embark right? no, i get unresponsiveness so hard that it refuses to do a thing, and i find this in the command prompt every time

so i managed to catch 4 troglodytes, and managed to get them into a pasture, one was released into the pastuer, and a mechanic who went to the animal stockpile near it in the same room was  not attacked by the troglodyte

so one of my world gen's name is the boulder of dye, and another is the channel of islands, those are too boring
also the name of the world is the Lengedary  something

so i do eerything i can do to get a goblin siege, never had experienced one, and yet, i created a new world, everything but history on the highest setting, and then embark about 5 arrow key presses away from a gob civilization, and yet, it wont send it to me

Most of my dwarves are in the tavern socializing, they arent trading either, why is this, and how can i fix it?

perhaps have it to where you can claim/forbid stuff en masse, like if you are claiming a generated fortress, that would be super helpful
