DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Overcome by terror from nothing it seems

My dwarves are freaking out over nothing, I can't figure out what's going on.  In my save, after about 10 seconds, all hell breaks loose. Everyone is terrified from each other. Its complete chaos. Can someone take a look at my save and try to see what's up?

I've been playing the Chocolate mod and been having a blast but I think what would really complete the whole craftiness of that mod would be a way to build a base via building with logs/stones blocks/ect... Like the subject asks is there a mod that allows you to build or dig for mats in Adv mode?

I think it would be a nice feature if the announcements could be filtered so I could see everyone who has died without having to sift through the job cancellations.

I think it would be nice/hopefully easy to add if in the unit list there were a way to know whether or not your dwarf was either inside or outside.  Maybe have a I symbol for inside and a O for outside.  This was I will know if a dwarf was stuck outside starving to death with no way in.

is there a value to alter in world generation mode or something to put more enemies in the caves.  You know, the caves where you have to go to kill the minotaur, cyclops, ettin, ect..

There's like a ton of tunnes and only 3 or 6 enemies in there.

Hi guys, I love this game and am currently exploring the adventure modes. I have a quick question though, can your adventurer stop learning skills after a point? I am a legendary thrower and legendary wrestler and my other attributes are maxed out (strength, agility, ect..) I ask because I was trying to use a sword to kill some antmen but I noticed that my sword skill was not leveling up. Any thoughts?
I'm using the newest version with a new map gen.

Say a weaver comes in to town.

he/she will have bone carving, leather working...ect.. and not have any proficiency in it.

is this a bug or a personality feature?

Does playing DF on higher resolutions take more processing power?

I'm playing it in a window that is 1920x1100 right now, I do it because I like to stay in window form so i can surf the web on my other monitor. Is DF going to run slower because its resolution is much higher than the default?

I get tired of builders trapping themselves whenever I seal off a room with walls. I think a good way to address this problem would be to have an option to select where you want the dwarves/builders to stand while building the wall. Of course this would be an option because it would make a tedious task even more tedious.

Since there are children how about some sort of education? Like make schools where they can learn skills like mining/crafting so when they reach adulthood they will be somewhat skilled in their job. If the school thing isn't great can there be some sort of apprenticeship? Where a legendary dwarf can take on an apprentice and show the kid the ropes.  Beats having a new generation of nothing but farmers imho.

I think it would be nice to allow the non military dwarves the ability to carry backpacks and flasks.  I mean, you can assign them weapons, armor/shields, why not backpacks and flasks?

Forgive me if this has been brought up in the past but I wish there was a way to give levers nicknames.

Just like how you can give dwarves customized names for their professions.

I think this would be beneficial because I find myself building levers side by side and I forget what does what whenever sieges happen. If I could just name this lever "bridge" I think the game would be a lot easier to play.

And if this feature is already implemented I'm sorry for not paying attention.
