so i have this decently modded game that i let run for 400 years or so, that when i finally decided to check with legends decided to crash when i tried checking the tabs like histfigs/artifacts/etc. deciding this was probably a flaw with the world, i tried generating another one only for it to immediately crash. there wasn't a single error in the errorlog that i hadn't had every time i ran the game before without crashing  (mainly missing definitions for mussel pearls and fluffy wamblers) and after a bit i noticed it was because the symbol file was missing.
now, confident that the isue was fixed, i generated another world, this one for only about 80 years or so, and decided to run that. exact. same. problem. with no trace in the errorlog of something fatally wrong.
can anyone please figure out what's wrong with my game? i'll post the save here if you want to recreate the circumstances of the crash.

alright, so i'm working on a mod thats based on a lot of settings me and my friend made over time and one of the things in that setting is animalistic/hunter gatherer (line is very thin with them) goblins/noslings that go around raiding things. i have most of the actual raws set but i have no idea how i'd translate into the actual game. the face isn't humanoid at all (being based on a caecilian which dont exist in df) and i fear i have to make new bodyparts, which is one of the few things i have no idea on how to do. help please!

so upon booting up my game with an edited version of taffer's 18x18 tileset, i was greeted by the magenta mess above. i have no idea what caused this and replacing my color file didn't do anything either

title says it all. ive had emilovich's language overhaul for a while now and i've had this bug pop up in every single one of my playthroughs. is there a way i can circumvent this? the original mod author has been inative since may and i was really hoping someone else could help me with it. examples of entity names would be something like "the unspeakable 0" or the "the 0 clan". i've recently managed to figure out what the zeros are meant to be by their original translation into dwarven/goblin/etc and although it helps the zeros still look dumb

i noticed while playing that the primary undead are completely frozen in place and don't move or interact with anything, and although this fits with the name (frozen one), i find it slightly boring and in all honestly a form of torture to drag someone back from the afterlife and put them in an unmoving shell with the inability to die, so where would the file for the currently existing intelligent undead be and how would i edit it?
