The guys at SomethingAwful, where the original boatmurdered crashed and burned, has made a new DF Let's play.

This is noteworthy considering nobody at SomethingAwful started another DF let's play since Boatmurdered. I haven't read through this yet but I'm going to as soon as I finish typing more words.

One you guys read some of it, tell everybody what you think of it. Keep in mind there is no way in ell this can be as legendary as Boatmurdered, but we can see how close it gets.

I could have sworn there was complete combat dialog in Fort mode, is there some setting to switch this on or off? Or just it not exist?

Can you grow normal crops, like sun berrys, in inside - light conditions? Or does it have to be outside and light too?

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Capturing wild animals

Hey guys, I can't figure out how to capture wild animals. Groundhogs, in this case. I was going to set up a breeding center for the, but i can't figure out how to get them caged so I can dump them in the breeding grounds.

If there is no simple way of doing this, I'm open to crazy ways of doing it like using 1000 dogs to chase them all or some crap like that.

I can safely say, in adventure mode and beyond, I have never encountered one wild dwarfish plant. I vaguely remember that they actually exist, and if so where can I find them?

Every time I attack even the smallest of towns with the strongest of weapons and armor, I always get killed by the lowly macemen and such. Is there some secret that I'm not aware of?
