DF General Discussion / Any news when 50.01 gets released classic?

Hello,

I noticed that the Steam version is 50.01, but the ASCII version if 47.05, and is almost 2 years old

Dev's said they'd keep updating the ASCII version.

Any idea when we'll get an update to the ASCII version? thx

DF Gameplay Questions / Getting rid of murky pool after draining a lake.

I emptied a lake in my mine to irrigate for farming, but at the bottom of the old lake are lots of "murky pool"
I tried to "dig" through them and also tried to build a "unpaved dirt road" but they all ignore my pool.
How do I get rid of it so I can farm?
