You are all sociopaths.

Especially the trash compactor drawbridge maneuvers, regarding immigrants.
Burning people alive to save resources. That's not the worst, moders, who burn
people alive to garner resources. Baby bones. Baby Bones.

The mayor just wants some leather hats. Give him the hats, Jesus.

• He need not be drowned, or burned, or both at the same time.
• Fall down large pit and then drowned and burned.
• Impaled as well?
• *Noble bones are worth the same as baby bones*

Are there any others affected in an emotional manner by these atrocities? Please, let your voice be heard.

It doesn't necessarily have to be vulgar or "evil" lyrics, just music that projects that sinister... oomph.

I've done a few searches and I keep finding they all lead to doom metal or horror-core. That's not what I mean by "evil"...

Not sure if this has been suggested, kind of a vague search param.

So I carved a 50x50 chunk out of a mountain for the sole purpose of setting up a craft shop and pumping out detailed idols and figurines for drawing ideas.

So he gets to pumping out trade crafts and eventually the workshop gets cluttered.

Bright idea.

I...

1. Deconstruct the building.
 a. Watch the building flood trade goods.
2. Reconstruct the building on the same spot.
3. Continue making goods.
 a. The building is now surrounded by your goods in sort of a quantum dump.
4. Building gets cluttered, repeat 1-3.

You know, zombie unicorns and fluffy rapelists.

So my skilled Hammer-dwarf , Spear-dwarf , Striker, and Swords-dwarf :UPDATE:Entire population:UPDATE:were all killed by this thing in relatively quick fashion.

Now i've just gotten into dwarf fortress a week ago, and I'm still learning a lot but I've got the basics down. I've been reading a lot on the forums about pumps, and magma, and what kinds of problems magma solves (though I have not yet encountered it since my fortress of Warspoon is on the beach).

I was wondering...
(please ask me if this sounds confusing)

If you construct a water pump that goes high enough (highest z level) and showers water down on to a

high pressure magma pump shooting through the downpour of water
would it create a solid magma (obsidian?) arc?
