Week one of Adventururur mode challenge is starting today!
You have to defeat some form of megabeast or do something equally cool without metal armour or any shield whatsoever.

I suggest avoiding dragons.
No more than 2 companions, and they should be wrestlers, just to keep the boogymen away.
Whips and throwing are considered cheap, but minmaxing stats at the begining is fine, I guess, if you feel the need.

Post your experiences in the thread, along with any suggestions for next week.
Good luck! And may Armok be with you!

Week two starts now, following Eric Blank's suggestion we'll be going with going for the most impressive kill with the strangest weapon. Posting of the item's kill lists is appreciated, how many goblins can you kill with a cabinet? Of course, there's no way of outding the
infamous LEGENDARY slaying of a bronze collosus with a fluffy wambler, but we can try!
Restrictions: No using normal weapons, no spears, knives, picks, swords, etc. That means you'll have to start out by putting away your starting weapon.
Non-restrictions: Wear any armour you want, start with any vanilla or otherwise not totally overpowered race you want, and start with however many skill points you want. If you want to try this using a character you've allready played for a while that's up to your own discretion.
Advice: Given that the idea is to get good kills with the weapon, it might be a good idea to avoid bringing too many companions with you. Equiping clothing as a weapon is worse than just punching things, I... don't recomend it. If you want to find a very odd weapon very quickly, search for some insects.
Aside from that, suggestions are needed for next week, good luck and have
Fun.
WINNER:Logrin with an ettin kill with one of the ettin's heads.

Week three sort of following another suggestion by Eric Blank, (you rock dude.) This time you have to make the most badass adventurer possible, start him off as a demigod and train him to be a super badass. Impressive kill lists are a must. Once you're pretty much invincible and well decked out with equipment, retire somewhere. Then start again with a weak as a wittle baby peasant. Your task: kill the previous adventurer. You have to make as much of a beeline as possible to his location, only using whatever equipment you can scrounge together on the way. You are a man/woman on a mission!
Restrictions: If you pick up companions on the way to the village/town/whatever, then get rid of them before the fight, either by sleeping and fast travelling immediately, or retiring that adventurer and then re-selecting him. First adventurer should start as a demigod, and end up fully decked out in at least bronze armour with a decent weapon and some sort of shield. Second adventurer starts out as either an outsider or a peasant. Use the same tier of weapon. If the first guy uses picks/whips you do too. If he uses normal weapons so do you. If he uses a butter knife you... get the idea. Niether of you can specialise as wrestlers. Makes the one your controlling too dangerous and the other too weak. AI isn't great at wrestling. Try and stay on the same tier of race. Don't make the first guy a kobold unless you are going to be one too.
Non-restrictions: Pretty open other than what's posted above.
Advice: Generating a smaller world makes it easier to find eachother, but it makes it harder to get impressive kill lists for the first guy. Or easier, since all the monsters will be close by.

guess you should make a small world for this one, not that you have to. Making the first guy use whips or picks would be a baaaad idea. Those are dangerous. I can guarantee they'll make the fight shorter. I would also suggest gaining your first adventurer as a companion and going somewhere a little more secluded, you don't need an entire town after you as well do you? Unless you are from the ame civ as the town you attack. Loyalty cascades are awesome.
Winner: NO-ONE, because no did it.
Guess I'll make things a bit simpler from here on out. Or at least with less set-up.
