DF Modding / Modding DF with many mods
« on: April 19, 2011, 12:03:30 am »
I have tried several mods for DF, and have liked a few of the mods I have tried. In most cases they easy to implement onto vanilla DF.
However when I try to add the Civ Forge mod to an DFAdvanced mod (for example), things go wrong. Workshops don't appear, weapons don't appear, and other problems occur.
So, how would I go about getting multiple mods to work on one version of DF?
Am I going to have to learn the language of modding and simply copy and paste the right parts of each raw, without deleting parts that are from different mods, or is there another way of doing this that won't be as tiresome and confusing?
EDIT: If no-one has anything on the subject, I will try my best to figure it out, and post results in this thread.
