DF Suggestions / Setting a target quality of objects and condition

It's rather annoying making things and the quality being random. One way to make it better would be setting what quality you want to good to be at.
Now the way the system would work is that masterworks would require a skill level to be able to a target quality and that they would take an insane amount of time to make. The quality of the object should change through out the crafting of it before it's finished.

Might be better to also add how quaility on how armor and weapons work so there's condition. Quality might also come from the metal (there being good iron/steel and bad)used as well as how well sharpened a blade is.

Think it might be the people coming to the taverns and bring them artifact books and somehow they're counting towards the artifact limit.

Well seeing as there's not much information on the wiki about why dwarfs will do it or not. I do remember I had a good look into why my dwarfs avoid doing sparing and how often it was done in one fort.

Organisation skill is a key factor in how quickly sparring and demonstrations are started.
Having more combat skills will cause more demonstrations to be done instead. (at least 1?)
Dwarfs will pick up the more useless skills from sparring and thus organise demonstrations on it.
Best squad size is 3 dwarfs so at least some of them will get the organisation skill up high enough and so some can sleep.

Haven't done it in a while so going to have to go back over it and see if its changed much. 40.24 Might have been the last time I really did anything or had a look into why some dwarfs were sparring more often then others.

Coins have value but if the purity decreases then so does the trade value it has.
Coins should have a percentage of purity of its main metal, copper, silver and gold.
Though this really only matters for silver and gold.
