DF Gameplay Questions / [Solved] Can't Bury My Dead

I've googled this over and over. I know I did this like a year or two ago the last time I played.
A dwarf is dead. I built a coffin. It immediately got placed in stockpile. I go to use the coffin (with q), and it won't target it.
I remove the stockpile to see if thats an issue. Same issue. I try using [t]. No dice.
I've moved the corpse into a 'catacomb' I made thats just a corpse stockpile. I'd like to properly burry this dwarf.
Any help is appreciated.
