Hello!
I didn't want to take your time with this but I can't hold it any longer. As I keep checking the homepage everyday, it becomes more and more disturbing but I can't explain it why... maybe its smile?... At first I didn't mind it but now I just can't ignore it. It's watching me with it's shiny red eye! Like it is scanning my soul... I don't know what is it but I MUST know it: what is that yellow thingy with the pointing finger on the old donations menu?

Hello!
In my next fortress I want to build an archer tower which would serve as an entrance too. My strategy would be stationing archers on the top of the tower, so they can shoot the invaders while they enter in the fortress, inside they would face my melee squads.

My question: will I have any kind of problems with the archers, like jumping off the tower? As far as I know, there is a bug which makes them charge the enemy (The tower would be climber-proof, the only way for them to attack the enemies with melee would be jumping off, in the middle of the battle).

Though I suppose if you want another for the list of things that might be making life too easy, it's very easy to just cage trap everything that's not trap-avoid. So they might be a tad OP in the grand scheme of things maybe?

Yes, I want to make a list whit such thing. Regarding the cage problem, I will probably just stick the trap-avoid token to anything what is should represent some kind of threat [because why not (Sneaky elephants: only in Dwarf Fortress)].

Please, continue the list!

Hello‼
I would like to make some raw modifications which would make the game's combat approximately as hard as in the earlier versions but for this, I need your help: please describe what is easier now. For example: elephants are much more peaceful (so I will make them aggressive)

I start the list, please continue:
-goblins are pathetic, untrained because of the world gen.
-rare sieges.
-the pain caused by the bone fracture is too big.
-the undead are overpowered.
-dwarves train much faster.
-...

Thank you for this detailed answer! I have only one two more questions: would giving steel to goblins result a one-piece goblin armour made out of steel?

Update: Second question: is it possible to modify the bonus stats of the undead? If I remember correctly, they get an increased stats when reanimated.

Hello, I would like to ‼buff‼ some enemies, please help me! (I warn you: I have no modding experience)

1)How can I modify the elf armor and weapons to be more like steel?
2)How can I (if it is possible at all) force goblins to gain exp. faster? (thus the sieges would bring more stronger goblins)
3)How can I force goblins to be as armored as possible? Usually they just wear 2 or 3 random pieces of armor, which is not enough.

I replaced [PRINT_MODE:TwbT] whit [PRINT_MODE:STANDARD] just as you said in the original thread of the mod. Now it works.

Hello! I'm not sure that this is the right place to report this bug, but still, here is my problem:
Any time when I'm using one of the "rendermax" commands, the game instantly crashes in fortress mode, right after I press ENTER in the DFHack window(or after I enter in the fortress mode). I'm not using any mods. Do I have any hope to use this command?

I would like to make a request:
-a lot of necromancer towers concentrated at one point
-a living dwarf civilization
-sand
-deep and/or shallow metal
-copper is fine (iron is great, even without flux)

BONUS POINTS:
-even more towers‼
-flux
-it shouldn't too rich, I don't like when I'm drowning in diamonds
-the world should be FPS-friendly
