I have to say that this is a wonderful mod, I remember playing it several years ago when it was still fairly basic and loving it. I'm really happy to see how far it's come in my hiatus away from DF, I have run into one problem with it though. Does anyone happen to know how to properly merge DFhack with Corrosion? I keep getting a error from DFhack saying it is an unrecognized version of Dwarf Fortress and it doesn't start. Not really sure what to do here, I don't have a whole lot of experience editing files and whatnot. Any information would be appreciated! Again love this mod!

Well I finally decided to play DF again and wanted a few basic mods for adventure mode. I installed your mod and Adventurecraft and I can't seem to create your spellbooks in anyway shape of form. I've tried workshops at a dwarf fort, I've tried crafting them myself, and I've even tried spawning them through DFHack with no luck. Can you only find the books? I could have sworn your post said you can make them, but is that fortress mode only? I really just want to try out your spells without having to track down one of the new towers.

How does this affect gameplay? It sounds really interesting you if you can still talk to people/merchants to get quests, trade, etc. I would love a completely chaotic world.

Thank you, I was was rather irritated when I made that post. I had been trying to get it working for a while and was starting to feel discouraged. Do you know the significant differences between 1.2 and 1.23? The entire reason I got it was to try out the Hermit mode challenge. I'm not entirely sure how to enable them, do you have to make them both active and fortress mode playable to do it? Or do you just start a normal dwarven fortress and use the unique workshop?

So I decided to start playing masterwork again and frankly I'm pretty disappointed. After trying the LAA fix it still has yet to successfully create a world yet. I have tried various sizes, lengths in history, I tried the preset maps in the advanced options,  literally the only time it *almost* worked was with a freshly unpacked MW, I managed to make it to the history generation point where it went for about 40 years then crashed. Am I doing something wrong? I've NEVER had this much trouble with a mod for DF before.

I'm fairly new at modifying the raws, so bear with with me. How could I make an interaction or something that allowed me to heal myself as an adventurer? I'm not meaning the way werecreatures heal, but more like consuming an item to heal a specific part. Example: My left lower arm is cut open, use the interaction, consumes threat material, my arm becomes sutured. Is this even possible?
