So much later that the old narrator got tired of waiting and we had to hire a new one.

Granted!
You enter the "Absolutely Safe Capsule" from Mother 3.
Mercifully, you are not immortal, so you don't have to spend eternity in there. Just until you die of thirst.

I wish I had a glass of ice water.

Granted! They're all black cats, so you're constantly having your path crossed. Everything that can possibly stem from bad luck happens to you, forever.

I wish I had an army of loyal indestructible puppies.

Granted!
The aliens hail you as their nuke free leader, and celebrate by pampering you in the standard Bursalonian fashion.
Culture shock doesn't begin to describe your issues with the relaxing bath they drew you of sulfuric acid, but due to the language barrier, your screams are misunderstood as being a good thing.

I wish I spoke a second language.

Fresh and fruity: squirrel hair do.

MY WHITE CARD STOCK REFLECTS LIGHT OF ALL COLORS!
Although a playing card can only cause boo boo level injuries when thrown, so it's probably a tie.

Granted!
Thirty minutes of your life immediately prior to making the wish is refunded, causing you to grow thirty minutes younger.
And then it begins to repeat, since the offending thirty minutes no longer exist. You rapidly deage as your family and friends watch on in horror, until you disappear from sight, having become an ovum again. And then nothing.

I wish I didn't have to do the dishes.

Also:

I wish I'd get a satisfactory answer to the question of "What would constitute a pleasant death?"
Imagine being spoon fed advocaat custard, and being massaged gently by an attractive member of whatever sex you're into in a hot tub until you fall asleep and gently fade away.

Granted!
It's nice, for a while at least.
Eventually, the feelings of happiness and pleasure begin to normalize and people forget what life was like before.
In the absence of pleasure and happiness exists only painful withdrawal symptoms, and actual pain is nightmarish.
Eventually, thrill seekers, discontented with the entirely normal feelings of pleasure hugging brings, take to murdering others for the rush.
No one stops them because the rest of the world is too busy feeling contentment. Not even their victims.
Murder becomes boring, leading to an ever increasing cycle of violence by people desperately trying to recapture the feeling, which ultimately destroys the world.

I wish the world was 8 bit.

Granted!
You defeat the giant monkey men and conquer the eighth dimension, although you are in turn conquered by a fear of closeness intimacy and commitment that completely ruins your love life and friendships.
I wish I had more time to think of a wish.
Breaks over, gotta get back to work!

( I mean, they can't all be horrible, right? I'm sure that you'll be a merry butterfly on an earnest wind. )
Granted! You can now stay awake, because you have a slight headache that never goes away and is made worse with darkness for some reason. Blinking becomes pretty intolerable after a while. And sleeping is impossible.

Yes, even with your eyes open.

I wish to be motivated to do something. You can even pick what!

"Peanut Butter Door"
Those doors in Link to the Past that only stay open while a switch is depressed.
Why?
As a kid I thought the sound of stepping on and off the switch sounded like Peanut butter door. Also, they're sticky, I guess. The term stuck in my head for any door that requires a button to be weighed down to open it.

Also, Sami "The Butcher" from Advance Wars.
As much as she's one of the good guys, her tactics boil down to clogging the treads of her enemies tanks with the bones and meat that was once her infantry. She'd be a war criminal irl. Hence the nickname!

A redheaded tank commander broke my front and smashed all my artillery with her superior numbers.

Attempts by my infantry to strike from the mountains proved futile, as her army was just vastly superior to mine in numbers. Also the lumbering oaf commander i used has a serious problem with bad luck... didn't help at all.

Advance Wars , Flak vs. Jess
