Armok, I can't wait for an update. But I'm really hoping we will see plumpy the plump helmet man once again.

Oh there was more than one cult. It seems that we here at bay 12 have some tendencies.

I've been seeing way more legendary dwarves in the current version than usually. Is that a thing for you guys as well? Especially legendary people with social skills. Legendary poets and so on.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: Crazy angry religous dwarf problem
« on: March 20, 2020, 10:53:24 am »
I think there are some dwarves that still have a bunch of figures of worship in the new version, and that still spend most of their time in the temple. Though it IS noticeably better than in the previous version.

If you don't feel like killing them, you can exile them. I usually do that for dwarves that become crippled or dwarves that are constantly sad and spam Attend Meeting jobs without much improvement in their mood.
I haven't seen any "worships the entire pantheon" dwarves in 47.04 yet. Multiple gods, yes but we always had them.

And really, a dwarf arrives who wants to spend more time praying than the overseer would like, and will sulk if not allowed to, that's a fairly realistic problem to have. Have their workplace near the temple, give them regular religious breaks, it's a solvable problems, if you want to solve one Dwarf's issues (which you're under no obligation to).

Too many gods to be able to do anything at all but desperately pray while your spirit crumbles is the buggy issue to avoid, I think.

Agreed. If it's fixable in game then it's not an actual issue. And yeah. It requires micro managing your dwarf. But everything does require micro management in this game, so it's not like that changes much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Utilities and 3rd Party Applications / Re: Adventurer's Journal v2

I only now discover this, but it seems like such a great tool to make adventure mode less of a burden (when I play I actually have a notebook next to me).

This is incredibly useful! Thank you for putting in the time and effort to make that.

When he transforms into a giant singing rhino does he continue drinking, or does he flip tables?

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Building altars and different skills
« on: March 05, 2020, 10:49:47 pm »
So it seems that rock altars can be constructed both from the masons workshop and the craftsdwarfs workshop (seems like a bug) while only using the rock crafting skill. However for the wooden altar it only uses the carpenter skill and workshop. Now that i look at the other recent furniture (pedestals, book cases etc.) the same inconsistency exists. Carpenters make wooden pedestals while stone crafters not masons make rock pedestals. Can someone explain to me why the carpenter makes pedestals not the woodcrafter?

What is the button for petting animals?
Asking the real questions here.

Hmmm. Wouldn't removing all the purple from the tileset work? I had the same problem with some new tilesets and that seemed to be the quickest way to fix it.

How is your fort surviving when it's full of vermicious knids?

The were rhino bard was just sitting there.

This guy's just chillin'.

(big gif, takes time to load)

He transformed back into a goblin and got drunk.

Next visitor was an entombed ghoul monster slayer.

The goblin drunk itself to death.
My tavern keeper is quite efficient.

I've been compiling a list of my dwarves' believes and the civilization that these Gods belong to and it seems that the dwarves have an equal chance of believing in Gods of other civilizations as in yours. So basically that means that if you wanted a shrine to each God of your civilization, you first need to figure out your civilization's Gods.
