Thanks, one more question now, so when I play as humans in fortress mode, are the building supposed to be the exact same as dwarf ones..?

Hi guys, so I've had a problem with the latest release of masterwork, when I set hermit to active and playable in fortress mode, it doesn't show up in the race options at embark. Yeah.. thats about it.

Thank you, my general plan has been to have a few cage traps littered around the map that catch anything that walks by, that way I don't risk an orc (orc fortress mod is awesome!)

Hey everyone! Question, so if I were to begin hunting, could I theoretically run out of animals on the map, or will they come back regardless? I'm playing a somewhat outdated version of masterwork, if that matters.

So, I'm playing kobold camp and need clay, but when I build a kiln and try to collect clay, there is no option for it? Its just not on the reaction list. I have a clay collection area.

If you tell 1 guy out of several to do X, others will be doing their civilian labours.

Is there a way to make them train during that time?




Even more confusingly, if you tell 5 guys to train in assigned barracks, 10 minimum (default), they will train anyway.

If I remember correctly, that governs the maximum dwarves that will be sent.

So, how do I send only one dwarf to do it at once? (This is assuming what I said above is not true, I'll test that a bit later.)


And I probably won't love crossbow dwarves, I'm playing orc fortress with the masterwork mod. Those sticks they shoot at us hurt  :'(

Hey everyone! This is my first post, so bear with me here. As the title says I have a few questions. #1 If I set a squad so that one person minimum is at the post at one time, does this mean that only one will go and do it or what? I don't see an option to set maximum units, so this has me a tad confused. #2 If it is true, that the minimum option actually sets the maximum amount of guards that will go, if I set it to one in a squad of three, what will the other two be doing while he guards? #3 Again, tying into the first one, will the other two other two guards go to relieve uristmcboredguard after a while or what?
