Stress is completely broken in 44.10, so use DFHack's remove-stress.

Meph's tileset is amazing. Be sure to use multilevel.

Well I'll be.... I have been avoiding 44.10 because of the stress "fun", didn't know about this DFHack anti-"fun" feature.  Thanks.

I agree with Meph, I have a 3840x1600 38 inch monitor and even with his 32x tileset I have to shrink it (zoom out) a little to see more of the map.  64x would be overkill.

I beg to differ good sir, I would love to see more inorganics, it would make identifying things easier in the medium and long term.  In the short term there will be an accustom period but we'll get over that.  There are so many sprites as it is, that a layer more won't make it more confusing. 

More is the point:  Meph is on inspirational fire at the moment, I don't want the momentum to curb.

It happened to me too.  I just unzipped it a brand new directory and somehow I got that old (January) override.txt file as well.  No idea how it got there.  I then opened the tileset zip file and drag over the April version of the override.txt over and voila no problem.  Odd, not sure where that override.txt got generated. 

For the record, all I did was changed some of the font options in the launcher and then booted up the game and noticed the same error as the other folks here.  So it looks like a systemic problem with the launcher.

(Meph, your pack is awesome.  Thanks for the updates.  I can't wait till you reboot Masterwork, that would make my year.... )

Do the gem floors and carpets have a effect on room quality?  If so how much compared to the other room improvements?  (For me your tileset have replaced my long loved spacefox tileset (the first set I learnt how to play DF on, watching Dastactic's videos.)

Mousequery doesn't seem to work near the right edge and bottom edge of my screen, I have a 3840x1600 monitor does it have something to do with that?  I tried to resize my windows and that didn't help, but having a larger windows makes it seem worst because the dead edge seems to be proportionally larger.  So if I make the screen really small it seems to be fine.  Seems like it is hard coded to a smaller windowed resolution of DF.

Update:  Weird seems to occur only in some tilesets, tested to be bugged with Spacefox (which is an old version) and Tattered (the new tileset), but seems to work fine with Wanderlust (that comes with the DAIII War and Mythos mod)  & Gemset & pretty much all the tilesets that comes with the current LNP.

Amazing set.  Could you make a version that one could just install into the LNP structure?  Edit: Is the pocket version just what I am asking for?

Edit: played with it over lunch at work, the shading work is remarkable, well done.  I love Meph's work (I mean LOVE) and the Phoebus set, but you took 2 sets I didn't use and made a set that I would use.  Hats off to you good sir. 

Question: What size is it?  16x 18x 24x 32x?  Looks great at work on my 1080p screen but not sure how that would translate at home on my 3840x1600 screen.

I got it to work this way, download the Meph version preinstalled with Dwarf Fortress/dfhack/etc, copy it to your LNP folder and simply select the Meph folder on booting LNP, voila enjoy. 

(I then manual copy over the interface.txt file to retain my keybinds from my regular game and don't try to change tilesets away from Meph's tileset inside LNP, but it is ok to change fonts/colors/init settings/save settings/etc.)

Read your inquiry on the other thread: Edit.

To update it to 44.09, try this: just do the above and then copy the 44.09 DF over the Meph folder and the updated DFhack on top of that and then the TWBT dlls in the hack/plugin folder.  I believe that should work, you may need to copy over some init folder items to make it work... someone else can chime in here to help.

Does this version 0.43.05 of Masterwork work as intended?  Any major show stopping bugs?  Can I play it as is and have an enjoyable experience?  Don't want to invest hours into it and find that its broken.  If so which version is recommended?  Thanks in advance.

Edit: Sorry for the noob-y question.  Just started to branch out modding DF.

That is, if I install it to an existing LNP, it would work?

Works like a charm, setup your LNP pack with the graphics set you prefer and then just make a copy of the 0.44.09 DF folder and copy the files from this mod over it, run LNP and don't mess with the tileset tab settings and it will run fine.

Good lord that is a beautiful area, picturesque and stunning.  Problem is when I embark I start on the surface of the frozen river and after unpausing for a less than a minute, the ice melts my animals and some of my dwarves drown, also all of my embark gear is now in the middle of a raging torrent.  I can save the dwarves I guess, but recruiting them into a military and moving them off the river asap, but boy o boy, the salvage operation for the gear is a bit of a challenge for beginner me.  Any tips?

I can't seem to generate a world with the advanced parameter presets, any of the medium ones anyway, it keeps retrying and get as far as "placing civilizations" and then restarts as its unable to place them all.  Thanks.

I have a nooby question as well:  I assume I can't just use a stock standard tileset right, it needs to be modded to work with your mod?  I sorta am used to using spacefox that's all.  What would happen if I use it?
