I had the economy triggered and also made around 10k copper coins. I noticed some coins laying around fort floors but most of the coins were actually laying in rooms owned by some dwarves. If I remember correctly, dwarves used cabinets to store their money but I believe they use coffers as well.

Leftover coins were stocked in bins at coin stockpile.

Make sure you have refuse stockpile big enough for corpses and other cr*p. You can also make garbage zone and mark corpses as dump if it bothers you too much. I sometimes get miasma at butcher's workshop when my butchers not doing his job so it's good idea to make it in room with doors.

With bridge you have to find some manner to raise it back up again so that you don't have single-shot deathtrap.

Come to think of it I have never tried to link two separate trigger to bridge or any other building. Can you do this?

If I remember correctly your fort name appears also if you have 2 or more forts saved. Adventure mode saves should also work. Anyway you also need 2 or more worlds to get the load screen.    :)

I never mine the left side of floodgate before I got a working mechanism to open/close the floodgate or dwarf has route out of trouble. I got really annoyed with this once and after that I've been always doing it this way.   :)

I build much floors using [C]onstruction -> [f]loor to get rid of extra stone I don't need. However this tends to take lots of time from masons since they have to run around the fortress to get the stone and then construct the floor. Then again seeing those stones laying around hallways makes me mad.   :)
