The beast is loosed from it's cage and begins to make itself at home. Exotic particles from another realm beyond our own seep out of the modified reactor, coating it in reef-like vegetation similar to the creature's red tendril arm. Bullets continue to swirl around the hangar, a closed circuit camera is shot off it's mounting by a stray bullet from the Interlocker. The skull drone dips toward the store-room below, hoping to buy some more time for reinforcements to reach it. The three rangers are on their way to the fight, passing by the core room and the monster once again.

Brackman enters the other elevator, if there was a way to end this involuntary experiment on his soldiers it would be in the room above, the station's bridge. Of course, if the automated control system proved insubordinate or corrupt, he could simply pull out the wires until the voice stopped yammering on over the PA system. That was always therapeutic. He brings along the fourth ranger for back up, leaving the servitor behind to breach the locked door on the lower level.

A flash illuminates the gray hall as a tech priest, a servitor, and a second servo-skull are teleported into the structure. The servitor is armed with a shoulder las-gun for defense, but built for manual labor. It carries a crate with spare power cells and an assortment of tools. The Techpriest Auxilla is the chief engineer aboard the Syrinx. He is known as Gustav Brackman, a veteran mechanic skilled at keeping the relic technologies of the Imperial navy working despite their age and often mismatched designs. He relishes the opportunity both to escape the confines of his engine room and learn about this alien installation. As the trio appears, shots are fired in the hangar bay. The Skitarii riflemen and the squad's sargeant get back inside one of the elevators, leaving the Enginseer and the fourth ranger behind as they react to the Interlocker's attack.

Trapped, the creature continues to test the strength of the cell. Dents spread from the metal surface of the shutter and a crack begins to form on the outer beam. Strange bright light continues to escape from the seal of the outer case. Bullets ricochet off the ceiling of the hangar, giving the creature even more cause for irritation. The probe that had been unscrewing the grate over the air duct turns to see a number of spider-like metal droids charging for it and gunfire whizzing past. It takes some semblance of cover behind a dome shaped outcropping hanging off the roof of the loading bay.

The rangers disembark from the turbo-lifts prepared for a fight, but find this area as deserted as the hangar. The Skitarii Alpha holsters his arc pistol for the moment, dropping a piece of equipment on the floor of the room which emits sparks of energy. It is a fragment of archeotech, a one way teleportation stabilizer beacon for moving equipment and personnel over moderate distances. Aboard the Syrinx, an Enginseer and a cache of supplies are loaded into the teleportarium.

The other rangers move out to secure the adjacent areas of the control center. The Omnispex operator scans for life but finds the immediate area devoid of any signals other than their own. The four escape pods in the main atrium appear un-launched, begging the question: Where is the crew? Moment by moment, the station begins to look like a baited trap rather than a fortuitous discovery.

Sealed in by the blast doors, the extra-dimensional creature appears to be contained for now. Whoever built the enclosure appears to have known it's strengths and built an adequate fail-safe. However; the beast is not content to be locked away again now that it is fully conscious.

The waking creature busts through the casing of the stasis chamber with it's freed hand, smashing the glass and reaching toward one of the passing elevators. It's many eyes glint with malice and the unstable fury of a cornered animal. Inside, the Skitarii can hear shattering tempered glass as well as the sound of alarms and grow concerned. Their neural implants prevent the rangers from feeling afraid or curious, but the Tech-Priests overseeing the operation from the command ship begin threat assessment and alter their simulations to include this unknown variable. They ride the elevators to the top floors of the station to take the bridge. The skull probe is redirected to enter the ventilation system and find a way to the source of the commotion.

The first elevator doors open and the Skitarii pack in. They hold their position, waiting for the signal from the Alpha to coordinate their assault on the command center of the foreign station. The servo-skull continues through the hangar, making a full study of the room's dimensions, security measures and entryways.

Yeah I haven't used that app myself so I can't give you any help with it. I add all my sprites via old school MS-paint. You can get GIMP or Paint.net too although they may not be mobile-friendly. I'll add your jet in to my turn; it will be from your original image and not quite the same size as before.

You get an A for effort but your image is enlarged and fuzzy. Can you re-upload it and make sure it stays the same length/width and save as a PNG file?

The transport turns around toward it's mother ship, leaving the rangers to their own devices. In an effort to prevent station security from responding to their incursion, both lifts are activated at the same time. The galvanic riflemen take up positions around the first elevator while the squad sargeant and the ranger with a plasma culverin advance on the other door.

With the boarding party inside, the transport backs away from the station cautiously to perform it's exit burn. The las-cannons swivel upward and aim at one of the structure's weapon arrays. The gunner chooses to hold fire. If the occupants of this battle-station wanted to, they could have surely vaporized the troop carrier before it reached the hangar. Their mission was salvage above destruction, and an intact fortification would be of more value to the cult mechanicus than a defenseless one.

Hello there, I hope nobody minds me crashing this game. Picture wars on the freeforums site is pretty slow and I started lurking around here to see what was up.

A bulky transport approaches the installation at high speed, aiming itself at the wider of the two docking platforms. The ship is too large to enter all the way in the hangar and the bow only just pierces into the force-field that keeps the chamber pressurized. As the storm raven collides with the airlock's outer frame, a perceptible tremor can be felt throughout the station. Those within earshot and not in the vacuum of space can likely hear the sound of metal scraping along the hangar deck and the rumble of the drop-ship's main engine which continues to burn and push against the energy barrier. The frontal assault ramp swings open, and a four man team of Skitarii rangers disembark into the empty room.
