DF Adventure Mode Discussion / having some trouble getting into the game.

I'm having some trouble getting into df, i'm focusing more on the adventure mode and i'd love to have someone to talk to when i'm in trouble with something/want to share stories with, not sure if this is the right forum but would anyone be interested in helping a noob out?
