When I read the subject I assumed the overhead of all those coins made your CPU overheat.

I should point out that I've had no problems caging and uncaging animals. I keep a puppy cage to maintain my frame rate. I've been able to dump captured crundles back into the caverns.
I'll probably have to use the level method to get my dwarves back.

I've got two dwarves stuck in cages, and my other dwarves aren't letting them out.
I rebuilt the cages in the dining hall, but they are still not being let out.
This is very frustrating. Is this a known bug? Does anyone have a solution?

I encountered the same thing when I punched through an aquifer. I think the water pouring down from above makes the stone below instantly damp.
After a few z-levels I took a chance and branched out sideways. No flooding.
I think two z-levels are all you need to get past the aquifer.

Two thousand dorfbucks is a lot of money, too. It usually takes an artifact on a pedestal.
I noticed you get a little more value if you designate a meeting hall through the zones mode, rather than building from a piece of furniture. I tried making a guild hall from a statue garden built from a masterwork marble statue, and the statue's value wasn't added to the guild hall.

Migrants have been especially weird in my current fortress. Four necromancers, a triple legendary Carpenter/Boyer/Woodcutter, ten herbalists and nine animal caretakers.

Never mind this; I was looking to fill an entertainer role in the temple.
You can't fill an actual priest role until the temple hits 2000 dorfbucks of bling value. Once it does, the game only shows you a short list of candidates. Neat.
