you put cursor on coffin, it should have option "use for burial (b)"
after you "build" the coffin, of course.

I've been wanting to make Ogre Fortress. Where Ogre befriend with goblin, kobold. Enemy with elf, dwarf, human. Would butcher human, elf, dwarf. Slow learner. Consumes 3x food than what Dwarf consumes. Eats vermin. And so on, my envision of Ogre.

But it seem overwhelming work to go thru all of file, say remove all [VERMIN_HATEABLE], go testing game to see if goblin or kobold would bring wagon, test to see if human, dwarf or elf would come siege or attack or whatever.

But that was for 40d.. game is changing... now that game is requiring crossbow for hunting, muddy ground for farming, doctor to heal, etc. I need to change plan or scrap it.

Your post made me lol. I fixed the hair crossbows and uploaded the correct version to dffd.  I'm not sure why firing bolts is not working for you. Are you able to shoot bolts with a store bought crossbow/bolts?  Is the crossbow the only weapon in your hand?

Not sure, I think I was still holding on to a shield, I'll have to check again later.

Hey I noticed it's missing FORGE ARMOR -> GAUNTLET recipe.

Does "craft masterwork sword" recipe even work? It sounded like I should have 10% chance to make something, so 1 in 10 tries... I attempted like 20.. not made anything.

Making "Wooden Crossbow" turns into "hair" crossbow
Crossbow wouldn't fire wooden bolt, I tried to hold bolt on hand or put bolt in quiver..

Is there something I'm missing?

Knapping doesn't seem to increase adventure's power at all, so skip that one because it's very long process.

For Ambush and Swimming.. start your adventure at least 7 swimming, go into "Sneak" mode (Shift S) and then go into river (Alt Arrow).. go to one of wall, press 2 directions and hold them.. LEFT and RIGHT, or UP and DOWN against wall.

Just to point out, I think there was "plot hole" with beer cookie part. First Turin say "Where is the beer? I'm thirsty!" lead me thinking barrel is empty. Next Nirok say "No, there are no barrels."

Oh well I can just picture it already being filled up with food or seeds or something.

It's still good film.

You can try replace @ to look like elf, but in fortress mode your caravan dwarves will look like elf then.

I think i figured out.. somehow you saved color pink wrong or something... what I did to get it to work:

open your png, copy entire thing - open other working png (curses for example), paste over it, then resize attributes, save-as (mspaint does it fine).

I don't think its bugged, it just Toady took them out .13 and since, he'll put them back in .17 or later.

If you want latest adventure mode version, .12 is best til then.
