Hi there,

is there a way to get DF-Hack running with the current release? Basically I just want to use "reveal" before embarking.. I'm too picky with my embarks and it takes forever when trial and erroring embarks...

Hi Forums,

thought I´d share the following Embark with you since it pretty much hits what I´ve been searching for big time...

What the embark has (5x5):

Here is the save:
You can start out with my starting setup (Bunch of usefull stuff including an anvil. Starting Dwarfs are:
- Mason/Buidling Designer (Miner) 2x
- Mechanic/Carpenter
- Gem Setter/Cutter
- Grower/Cook
- Armorsmith/Metalsmith/Weaponsmith
- Diagnostician/Appraiser/Organizer/Record Keeper

Appart from that the Save is unppaused.

If You want your own start you can abbandon the fort, read the Seed and genning information from legends i think and create a brand new embark.

in the map i posted is a red square roughly on the right side of the world. in the midle of it is a crown (this is my abondened fort)
If you generate the world there should be a volcano instead.

Though I´m sorry to say, that I misremembered the war status with other civs... no war to any civ.
Also: No sand...

btw, this parameter set is made for getting flux+volcano+coal embarks. About every seccond generated world holds at least one embark with these conditions... varries of course from time to time...

I could supply you with an embark that has:

Volcano
Flux (Chalk layers)
Iron (lots!)
Bitum Coal
Gold
Garnierite
Galena
Aluminium
some form of copper
Huge amount of trees
Brook
Freezes in winter
Soil (though I dont remenber if it has sand)
All civs (Including war with goblins from one or two dwarfen civs)

If anyone wants it will give you the seed, parameter set and location.
(Is this enough to generate exactly this world?)

Is it possible to create underground farmland with mist?

i noticed that the mist made some floortiles muddy when i set up a waterfall.

so my idea was to have some kind of grid of channels above my farm that would create mist,

under the farmland the water would flow off and i would never again be bothered with irrigation.

Hello forums, my first post! ^^

As many DF playeres i came across a bug that makes wrestlers hold wrestled off clothing and

armorparts in their hands even when beeing assigned to use crossbows... which prevents them from

practicing their marksdwarf skill.


I dont know if anyone posted a method to workaround this  bug.. if so, please delete this post.


How I got the problem solved:
1st - select dwarf who refuses too practise

2nd - go into inventory

3rd - dump the item he helds in his offhand (if he has both hands fild and hasnt picked up a x-bow yet dump the other item tooo)

4th - profit


i hope this helps someone, at leas it worked for me^^
