This is making me think of all the wonderful things that could happen if you could make cages out of ice.

Keep it until you build a huge colosseum. Bonus points for box seating and a retractable dome. Then, use the troll in gladiatorial combat with your useless legendary potash makers. When the troll dies eventually, make soap from it, and start adding rings around the top of the arena for every gladiator that dies, made out of gladiator soap.

The gladiator soap could be sold.
The dwarfiest of soaps.

Carpe Diem.
Seize the dwarves.
Well. . .
I've got a river full of carp. There's a whole page of 'em.
Should I be concerned?

Is there water in said river?
Could it be removed?
Could it be heated?
The water SHOULD freeze in winter, but I'm not sure.
I don't have access to the magma sea, so 3 is a no.
I've added [LIKES_FIGHTING] to them beforehand.

Add [LIKES_DROWNING]
To what?
Carp are aquatic, so they can't drown. They can only airdrown.
I suppose I shouldn't worry, seeing as I am well away from the river.
My well taps into said river, though.

Well, I wasn't referring to the water, as water cant drown. I'd like to see what would happen if it did have the ability.

I'm sure carp can drown, somehow.

Do serrated discs damage adjacent things? They are passable?

I am asking because I've never seen them used as a garbage disposal; 5x5 vertical tunnel lined with serrated discs.

I carved out a few sections in the mountain and built a mason and a carpenter shop.

Theres a bridge too.

I think I might grow some plants.

I've never checked, but do the dogs have personalities/physical perks? That would be neat.

I remember when my old fort in the desert was overrun by rampaging zombie elephants.
This was a very evil region.
I told them to build a small moat upon embark, and they built a small moat upon embark.
They were safe.

When the forgotten lizard came, the forgotten lizard who spewed blood, who was covered in blood, who spewed poisonous blood, we sealed the passage to the caverns.

Somehow the beast made its way through the wooden door, and proceeded to killing my unarmed dwarves.
The beast was finally taken down, it was covered in light scars.
Pages worth of light scars.
The hatches from the apartments billowed miasma.
The fort became a miasma chimney.

I was disgusted with myself.

Olaf, the legendary wrestler, and survivor of the fort I now call LovingMiasma, converted the apartments into tombs.
Later he noticed that his cat had died, and went insane.

I didn't care enough... I let them all die.
I didn't have fun.
 I see dead little @'s.

I've been reading. I've been reading as if this was real life, and we are all managers of dwarven colonies.
(Omnipresent will-o-teh-dwarves managers)

"I've been keeping some puppies in cages so they can't be adopted, and I can slaughter them."
The same thing with kittens. Other furry animals even. Not even the ugly ones, like cows.

You are all sociopaths.

Especially the trash compactor drawbridge maneuvers, regarding immigrants.
Burning people alive to save resources. That's not the worst, moders, who burn
people alive to garner resources. Baby bones. Baby Bones.

The mayor just wants some leather hats. Give him the hats, Jesus.
  • He need not be drowned, or burned, or both at the same time.
  • Fall down large pit and then drowned and burned.
  • Impaled as well?
  • *Noble bones are worth the same as baby bones*

Are there any others affected in an emotional manner by these atrocities? Please, let your voice be heard.

Make them all gatherers and highlight the entire embark area.

Make one a butcher and slaughter all of your animals.

One of my dwarves once jumped on a titans shell.
The innards remained still while the shell went flying horizontally to the right at a persistent speed.
