It's good news yea, Namco have been around forever in the arcade/computer & video gaming world.

In part i bet it's a publisher too for CPG's new game which is a Dark Souls-like from what i've heard.

New expansion has some cool new cards too and tile effects and keyword etc so hopefully that'll be a bit of fun.

You guys should try get a new post on RPS, should drive a hell of a lot of traffic to your KS :) Brendan Caldwel (brendan DOT rockpapershotgun ATcom) seems the goto guy as he splurges over Rimworld and this should be right up his alley unless there are different avenues onto RPS as i see you have an old mention on the site.

Pricing on Indie games for me is not an issue, i'm more than happy enough to pay £20. I've seen the discussions you're eluding too about how Indie games should be priced ludicrously cheap and completely disagree with them, they forget people have to eat ;p But this is a KS not an actual finished product released to buy, we're being asked to trust you won't make a dog of a game and hand over cash up front essentially gambling with our cash. Prices are usualy set to tempt people in, £10/$10 is impulse "i'll buy it and see what happens", i think $10/£10 is probably too cheap, and looking at my prev backed KSers the lowest price i paid is $15 for Darkest Dungeon which is like £12.

And as it stands, going from prev experience of games going from KS to release, it's usually not too long before they're on sale, and that price ends up lower than what you'd pay for on KS. I still may back as it sounds very cool and i so so hope you get your funding as you've clearly put a lot of time in so far, but i can't help but think at a lower price point you'd get a lot more backers and more easily hit your goal.

You could for example add lower tier with no free DLC at a lower price point, as many people just wanna play the game and then decided if they like it enough to purchase DLC at a later date.

Awesome, MkII's are great, and yeah Faie is one of the best ones.

The expansion, some of the cards are batshit insane, others ok, still it'll shake things up a bit.

Never played a wall deck myself so not sure how it'll be after the expansion, there is usually a decent enough wall deck though that ends up being viable still.

Yes i believe they went under, knowing GG from DoD they would not have just jumped ship taking the money ever if they could have helped it. I think the game was just way more complex to create than they imagined and sucked all their financial resources dry. So they released earlier than expected to try and get some funds in to continue working on it or pay bills. I'm sure we'll see them pop up under other houses at some point or even some start up another studio.

The 1st boss, my smurf beat him 1st try with basic cards only, my main very nice cards took like 3/4 games ;p typical!

2nd boss i can't remember much about, but this boss was annoying until i played some cards to take advantage of the AI which is sorta the point of these, reading your opponent and playing accordingly. I used 1x Gauj(all i had) 2x Eclipse and Taygete as my main things, i also ran Phalanxs seeing as they're a 6/1 so the hp is irrelavent, but the dmg is nice.

I guess the biggest recent thing is the iOS testing going on atm with Android following.

Sarlac can be useful in certain decks :) mainly as a sacrifice to spawn other bigger minions as it always comes back.

Legendary drop rates are decent enough in Core Orbs, i think it's like 1 in every 4 packs will contain a legendary, shimzar is like 1 in every 5. And the new expansion per orb you get 3x3 of random cards in the set, you can't get duplicates either so 13 orbs gets you everything. It's crazily cheap too at $20 for all if you can't wait to get them with gold, and really some of the cards are batshit insane so this is the place to put your gold/money atm.

Keeper is pretty nice, but mainly in decks with lots of higher mana cost minions ie he's great with Magmar.

Yes Abyssian starter is maybe the strongest starter deck, i also liked the Vanar one.

As for prismatics, save your dust until you understand which faction you like to play :) then you can work out what you want to spend it on. Usually best to spend it on blues/purples, don't waste it on a legendary.
