You might remember me as either that guy with the massive Immersive Engineering/Petroleum setup or that guy who fucked up the Vintage Story server.

Well, I've dropped out of the server game for now and have been slowly working on the following.

Anyone here checked out Vintage Story? I just heard about it today. Seems to be a Terrafirmacraft inspired minecraft clone.
Briefly talked to the developer on discord. Its an interesting project that's very heavily inspired by terrafirmacraft but improves upon it in many ways.
Meanwhile my custom server continues to be delayed XD

I have alternative proposals, but like the way this is going.
1. Visitors should apply for residency immediately, but chance of it being granted depends on their assimilation, and skillset, if theres a shortage of soap makers goblin legendary soapmaker is highly likely to be accepted. They should assimilate gradually but much faster if they become resident and faster again when employed.
2. Residents should have a chance of siding with their civilization depending on their assimilation level, religion (matching with parent civs majority religion raises chance, matching with fortress lowers chance).
3. Residents should learn the forts laws immediately and only break them if desperate or mistreated (by racists?). As they assimilate they pick up the forts values and morals.

5. Yes, but the reverse should apply too, untill assimilated they should have much lower experience.

Roads are a significant time and material investment. Definately only worthwhile if a server doesn't plan on resetting any time soon. But at minimum you would want to slash and burn a path between frequently visited areas.

So many mods have to be recompiled for what is largely a language patch.
Well. Maybe I can hack the fixed runway model into 1.2

TBH I really want a mod that lets me set a quickmenu or hotkey to consume a random chem from inventory. Or food, or equip random weapon, etc.
