Hey thank you for the Tips atm I m working on some decent armor and weapons that should increase my Fortress value a bit  and they should come a runnin  :D. I really hope they are coming soon i didn't have a decent siege in the current version yet.

Btw i didn't know the Taverns worked to spread word of my fortress so thanks again for the info.^^

Hey I have been a long time DF player but in the recent version specifically since the introduction of the new armie behavior I have never seen a single gobline since then. I am currently at 110 dwarfes and still havent had a single ambush or suchlike which makes for a really boring experience.

How do you manage to get sieges now?

Thanks for the clarification, though it seems to be quite an undertaking since I don't heave a handy spider around. Well I will make a challenge of it and its not like I'm pressed for time, so next up is a little cave tour any handy ways to make lure the spiders in or do they path to my fortress  on their own?

OK, Í have managed to trap the beast underground in a small room so the crisis is averted but I really would like to cage him and the Traps I placed towards that effect dont work (Is he flying above them?) any idea how to cage him?

Hello fellow Dwarfs,
Recently a Titan wandered onto my map and i'm having a great difficulty to get rid of it due to it being a flyer AND having a Ranged attack that starts bush fires. Since its a Fb it wont leave on its own so waiting isn't an option. Sending in my poor and under-trained Marks dwarfs doesn't seem to be an option too due to them instantly catching fire. Somehow I doubt that in the few last seconds of their lives they would get a lucky shot and kill it. So fellow Dwarfs what do you suggest to stop this terror from burning my map to a crisp? While having a way to catch it would be fun at this point I would settle for a kill trap.
I just cant stand any more migrants popping up and starting yet another wildfire.

I had king cobra farm, and modded them to be trainable so they'd attack. They were completely useless against goblins since they hardly penetrated clothing, but they were the best kobold elimination squad ever. One bite, one poison injection, kobold dies before leaving the map

Neat idea but how did you get them? I  have embarked on a desert normal biome and so far (year 4) no snakes  :'(

This is a hematite mechanisms. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted with oval hematite cabochons.

... at least now I have a Legendary mechanic.

Build a weapon trap with it in you kings rooms extra point if you use artefact weapons. Should make that sucker quit happy :)

Hey I had my best Idea while playing stoned [Idlers:Off] by this stroke of Genius I am no longer slave to my "all must work,all the time" perfectionist mind set.
I am now free to embrace the concept that dwarfs maybe deserve a bit time off in the way of breaks and partys I mean why go through the trouble of make-work when you have something else to do anyway?

 I mean what would you prefer?

-set some hotkeys if you are making a fort on multiple z levels
-keep a steady supply of booze and food
-losing is fun
Mostly this and try out some simple micros this will speed up your game a lot ->instant apartments and pre carved out military barracks with ranges

also thematic forts are fun
