why are you adding a "s" to trolls ?
It's only misko who apparently still live between 1945 and 1990, when USA was the center of the world.
Now after 4 wars lost or failed in 40 years, some still thinks they are the center of the world. Most understood that it is not possible anymore.

He was pretty obviously joking from what I saw, and GoombaGeek definitely made it a bigger derailment than it should've been. I guess it didn't translate well. I'm pretty sure no one legitimately thinks the US owns Mars.
In any case, I voted for it. 

My miner was digging part of an irrigation system when he suddenly forgot how to use stairs and ramps... after I had turned it on with him still digging. I managed to get it turned off, and once the mist cleared, there was one very happy dwarf sitting there, starving.

Well, my new fort finally got it's first FB. The militia had no problem with it, and I only lost 4 guys, all non military (who were probably running after unforbidden socks...). Then the dwarf who was taking his time making an artifact gives up and goes insane. Well, a few walls and that's taken care of. Then another FB comes in under a month after the first (is a giant blind weasel anything to worry about?). Meanwhile, the mayor and the captain of the guard won't stop whining about their rooms not being good enough, and no one is working on the drowning chamber very nice pool with a "high dive board" for our goblin prisoners friends and the nobles to enjoy.

i7-860 2.8ghz (but DF turbo's it to 3.6)

Windows Vista 64 bit (tweaked to be ligther)

That's about what I have, but my i7 is only a 740QM at 1.73Ghz. Runs amazing for me. I had gotten so used to doing something else while I waited that I've been accidentally skipping entire seasons.

I use ASCII with no mods. Yeah, I feel boring now....
