Well the wonderful people of this forum helped me build this computer so many years ago i thought i would ask again for any advice before diving in and getting a new one , this one after all this time is starting to die i think

Anyone know of some resources that might be worth checking out , Im looking for a gaming pc.. Nothing hardcore or VR needed

I know some people say the build your own pc services from like newegg were good back in my day , anyone know if its still decent or any other place that might offer that ?

Im willing to bet prebuilt is still overpriced by a lot , Is that true or are they competitive yet?

Any tips or advice will be welcome!

Edit : sorry i forgot some details,  Aiming for about 1000 bucks , Intel chip sets seem to work best for me

Nope, Far to broke for that and i really dont need one..Only thing i would want a phone for is the camera, Riding my bike around last year was something indeed
i seen some strange stuff

I watched a guy drive down a road with 2 flats on his right side sparking up a storm .
A big black woman have a screaming match with the city bus driver who got out of his bus ....She was "SO going to bust his ugly ass in DA FACE wit my milk" (she was carrying a 2 gallon of milk
Almost got hit by a car veering off onto the other side of the road cause she was on her phone..
Lots of getto fights of people having shouting matches on their porch ..( no i dont live in the getto or anything like that too )
1 real fist fight
Lots of accidents

If i had the money i would SO get one of those go pros for a helm or something just because i would have some weird shit to post on youtube if not for anything but laughs

Oh yea i watched a guy do donuts on the lawn of a taco bell only to speed off and crash into a tree...I had to stop for a while and appreciate the stupidity of the situation, left me speechless

Alright i looked around in some local stores and online and really couldn't find what i wanted, The cheap ones i see either have horrid reviews or suspiciously good reviews (8 reviews all 4/5 stars with long wordy detailed product descriptions that sound right off the back of the box)

So i am going to do a peer review kinda thing , This community is really helpful and has helped me a lot in the past with these kind of questions so i thought i would just try here

Im looking for a decent/good but cheap MP3 player.
Now that its summer i am looking to start losing some weight and i need something i can use while walking or riding my bike. I don't want to spend a lot on it for fear i break/drop or it gets stolen
Features don't really matter to me but some seem to have FM radio now days
Size doesn't matter i dont have a lot of songs so 4 gig will be more then enough
i was hoping for something like 20 bucks but if i feel its needed i might be able to do 25-30...i really don't want too though

Hopefully this is the right place for this, If not i apologize and thank anyone in advance for any suggestions you might offer

Problem with that is if it comes out of beta it will be full price for a much longer period of time , % off what it is now vs prob like 6+months of waiting for a same or better deal to come by

I just barely scraped together enough to get this so i donno maybe it was not meant to be.....sigh

I hear dust is really good , If i was going to buy it i think i would just get it from steam for full price because 1 guy made that whole game , Artwork , sound and gameplay stuff all alone

problem is that if i get it i am still missing out on a lot of content i wont ever buy ...i feel if i buy it in a few weeks steam will have some 70%+ sale on it and i will feel screwed out ...it wouldnt be an issue but like i said cash is a little tight right now but having a new game to lose my troubles in would help ..

Is the humble bundle worth it if i am just looking for the Civ 5 stuff?, I just recently got into civ5 (Vanilla) with a friend and its a ton of fun

But i am really really limited on funds atm because of "stuff" and dont know if i should wait for the complete version on steam to go on sale?

Suggestions?

I wouldnt mind a copy of it , looks like a neat game

I really cant stand questions like this because its something that is different for people year by year. When i was younger i had an intellivison and played the shit out of Advanced dungeons and dragons and while i still love the game i know its mostly because of that..Other games won my favor over the years and could be called my favs

When i first played silent hill on the playstation , i didnt know a game could scare me so bad
Final fantasy's .. I loved 1 6 and 7 , i consider the best MMO i played to date to be my time in FF11,
Planescape Torment (just got a digital on gog for like 2 bucks...lol)
Stuff like morrowind for the Xbox. I never had a game with that much customizability and it was amazing, never even got half way through it because i would remake and retry so many things..
One of the first real AAA games for the computer i ever got was Bioshock. I remember that opening scene with the fire on the water and was so shocked it was not a cutscene

The list changes day by day for me it seems.
