Far as I know the second lightest weapon grade material is iron/steel. You might try stockpiling aluminum bars by your forges and hope for a strange mood, or the elves might sell you a wooden hammer of some form (Hell, they can make chain mail out of the stuff...).

Good job everybody, specially the champions. That fifth place is impressive.
I still haven't managed to get my first rune, but I came close this time. Hopefully by the next tournament I'll have managed to delve deeper into the dungeon.

Will training spell casting or armor overcome the spell casting penalty for wearing heavy armor? One of my characters just got a randart scale mail.

Bit late, but I'd like to join either a beginner or low intermediate team if there's still room. My best character died on the last level of the orc mines, and I've never gotten a rune, so I figure the intermediates might be a little too advanced for me. If it's needed, my webtiles username is MinsEcho.
