I have recently reinstalled the new version .34.07. After a year after embark a dog has gone missing. No migrants have yet arrived. Is it possible that a vampire is one of my starting dwarves? If so how do I find him. If not then what might have happened to the dog?

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Can I butcher sentient corpses?
« on: May 07, 2012, 03:38:04 pm »
I have just killed a kobold thief, I decided to make the corpse useful I would butcher it and use it's bones to encrust crafts/furniture etc.
Would that be possible without modding or would I need to edit raws to enable that?

Is there any way (after killing them) to wear my enemies' skin, hands or even heads as a trophy or just for fun?

DF Gameplay Questions / Is it possible to mine in adventure mode?
« on: November 26, 2011, 12:00:55 pm »
I have been wondering some time whether it was possible to mine or to create constructions in adventure mode in order to create a hovel/house/mine? If not then is it planned in the future?

DF Suggestions / Building in Adventure Mode
« on: April 15, 2011, 06:31:29 am »
The main problem I seem to have in Adventure mode is trouble finding somewhere to settle down. What if you could cut down wood with an axe or mine out stone with a pick and then use that to build yourself a house. Maybe even create workshops in which you can create furniture and goods you can later go to town and trade. Or build your house in a town. I think this would be a great addition to Adventure Mode

So is this game going to be like Dwarf Fortress? It sounds similar which is good  :P
Bookmarked and gonna follow this. Sounds awesome!
Also the ability to found civilizations and religions? Time to create my very own cult.
Also will there be different game modes?  Or will it be sim creation like current Dwarf Fortress?

Therapist and Hack unfortunately don't work on mac but what you can do is download Wine, which is an application which allows running windows apps on mac and linux and then download the windows therapist and hack, then run them. I have a linux and they work perfectly.
