isn't it sad that when talking about bans on this site it's as though someone died because nearly all if not all entirely seem to be perma bans? i get that with the traffic here it's incredible that only 2 admins run this whole forum but that more speaks to having more moderators then just swinging the ban hammer like guard captain in the middle of failed mandate season.

quite honestly i do expect to be banned for this thread and thank armok for floating IP's. im' not taking the piss out of Three Toe or Toady One, i'm just being honest.

i love the mayday tile set but i have been stuck on .21 coz it's just not updating! is there something im missing or did mike just not notice we are at a stable release (well stable ish) and new updates arnt weekly for a short while?

could you please stop derailing this thread? it's been going for some 83 pages and your weird obsession is threatening the entire thread. so please stop it, i don't want to have to call 3toe the hammer admin in here because we all know he loves using his ban hammer way to much and if he goes postal on everyone who has ever posted in an 83 page thread? well that would easily be half the active accounts on the site. please shut up about what the dwarves are meant to sound like? if you really need to discuss this then start your own thread.

why would there be lag? he was talking about hosting separate forts, you could play online season by season and the game just sent the updated info between them as several players manned an entire civ. they wouldn't really even be able to see each-other and the most contact they could have would be sending migrants, diplomats/representatives and trade caravans. it would be slow but i think pretty popular.

may i just point out to everyone there is indeed a ethic for slavery? if toady wanted none of it then there just plain out wouldn't be. also as civs get more and more unique whats to say there wont be rouge civs with chain gang gobbos digging through the earth?

yeah, i like the idea of architects making safer buildings or more accurately higher quality buildings being safer. also as for leather gloves to protect the metal smiths and so on, even with aprons to protect the butchers. that way you could have a 'safety is careful' fort where any dorf with low dext can suck it and the doctor is essential and overworked and the 'OHS poster boy' of forts where the doctor is neglected coz it's that safe there is no accidents to speak of thx to ramps (safer then stairs), wide hallways, work safety gear and so on.
