The comparison was never meant in the sense of one better than the other but rather a look at the different styles. If I want to create very different rooms with a large variety of styles and themes then Meph fits the bill. But for me I like everything looking similar or well fitting for a consistent theme over the entire fort. Meph really did lead the way in a lot of areas of modding. I still play his mega mod from time to time and remember when it first became a thing. Its cool to see how the community has grown and changed over the years. (dwarf fortress its self included). Ya I have found that I enjoy making wooden furniture for my forts as it just for me mentally creates a picture that makes sense and more of a cozy feeling in the rooms then everything being stone.

Keep up the great work!

P.s. I would not create to much extra work for yourself, especially with all the potential changes of the steam release resulting in scrapped work for yourself.

I love the look of the wooden furniture. Too often wooden furniture just looks like brown stone furniture. So would love to see this. You are doing great work. As for the metal furniture, I would just make it look distinct to the wood and stone. All the different metal furniture types from Meph’s set can be too different from each other and not fit well together visually. Just my two cents on it anyways. Keep up the great work on your tileset!

Hey,

I just started to brew the fruit and grow more of the plant and get more ice. It seems like a really cool system. I still am looking at exploring the alchemy stuff.

So I have been playing through the mod. I love the growable ice and the use of the alchemist. However how do I get more seeds for the Ice Bramble plant? I see in your notes that there is supposed to be Ice crystals and Fruit Growths. However I only see the Ice Crystals and can turn them into boulders of ice. But I have no way of getting more seeds.

*EDIT: I just noticed the Bramble berries. Are those from the Ice Bramble? If I brew/eat them am I safe to assume I will get more seeds for Ice Brambles?

Wow, did not expect to see a post in here ever again. I agree it would be nice, but I think it is truly dead at this point. What a story it was.

Hello,
Great tileset and graphics. I am really enjoying the look of the dwarves. I have a question though. My miners show up in-game as white ghost dwarfs staring at the bottom of the screen. Just curious how I might fix this?

Delete the /raw/graphics/graphics_example.txt file.

Thanks this did the trick! I now have miners running around instead of ghosts.

Fantastically beautiful tileset Meph. The only "problem" I have with it is that bins are just black squares. Wonderful job on it. I'm getting to the point that anything with your name attached is a guaranteed success and need to have.
