I believe there is a degree of randomness to it. What SHOULD happen is one of your sleepers should take the place of one of the door guards, quickly letting you in (at least, that's how it works for the gentlemen's club); they will not be a door guard 100% of the time, you just have to keep coming and going until you get lucky.

I hope I'm not missing the obvious; I have the source code, and I'm pouring over it on that SVN cilent, and looking at all the files downloaded, and I'm not seeing a newgame.cpp
I see a newgame.diff, which by my eyes just seems to be a changelog for the actual newgame file

I've edited Save.dat before, it's easy enough but time-consuming and I don't want to do it every time I want to make an uber founder. I suppose I should ask where the values are located, in what file and in what line of code. That's my main problem.

Referring to the beginning of the game, I want to tweak the values of  the questions that basically sets me up with an uber-powered leader to test things. How do I edit the attribute points the questions give?

Is there any way to raise the law skill besides University and when defending yourself?

Death Squads respond to any and all crimes, including spray painting, with lethal force.

Hello!

1): Useful while tending to hostages. The bondage gear is the second best outfit, and is the best if you intend on drugging the captive. If you don't drug, the best is the Death Squad Uniform.
2): Cosmetic difference, identical stats.

Was that useful?
Yes, thank you very much.

Curses / A few questions

I have two questions, relating to things in the Oubliette.
1. What use are the Clown suit, Bondage Gear, Toga, and masks?
2. Is there any difference between the Sword of Morfiegor and the Dasiho?

Curses / Re: Possible to get a Tank?
« on: June 03, 2011, 11:03:15 am »
Having tested the Flamethrower on the tank, I can confidently say that fire damage does not affect it any different than any other kind of damage.

It should do more damage, in theory. Does it say no damage is inflicted, or is it just that the tank is still alive and well afterward, and still mowing down your guys?

Perhaps it would be worthwhile to send the tank's armor to 0 for fire damage. Then again, maybe such extreme measures should be reserved for some kind of anti-tank gun or rocket launcher that isn't in the game yet.
It gives the same message as any other ranged weapon, and is still alive afterwards.

Hm, that would be unbalanced given the current usage of tanks. The two places tanks show up are 1. During assaults, where they park at the front of your base without an escort, and 2. During escapes, when they're almost always the last unit following if you run, since they don't have to make stat-based running checks to see if they keep up with you.
They appear in the Military base as reinforcements as well.

Has anyone tried Molotovs? They worked IRL on some tanks.
I'll try Molotovs and flamethrowers. Will post again with success or failure.

Officers should have a few points in every combat skill, but I can't think of a reason they would have points in every skill, such as Art. They would likely have decent Psychology skill, having to keep men's morale up and such, which would also have the added benefit of making them appropriately hard to Enlighten. In terms of skills, they should have one or two points in every combat skills, but more in pistols, swords, and dodging. Also, possibly add team Medics to the Army base with a great starting First Aid?

EDIT: For the SEALs, they would also need to have high Psychology, since they are specifically water boarded during their training to build up resistance to torture.

So, as of now, it is not possible to recruit a tank; thanks for the help.
