Extend - I have not had nearly enough time to devote to this and I have no further time to do so tonight.

Shinigami_King:
extend. Sorry everyone.
YOU NEED TO BOLD THIS.

Toaster:
It's not a cult. They were sharing a house.
What makes you say this?  From the flavor, I don't see this conclusion at all.

Maybe because we are down 5 players but only 4 houses? Or maybe it could be:
Ottofar-san and Solifuge-san have lost!  House 1 has been evicted!

If it were a cult, then an additional house would have been closed when Solifuge was recruited, or when he lost. Neither happened, so the obvious conclusion is that they shared that house from the beginning.

I'm not third party, but I almost certainly am (or was) a target for somebody else's wincon.
You've already claimed a lot- why not claim enough to define this?
I'm talking about cosmetic stuff like my hair color, gender, etc. Something about me definitely sets me apart.

Sue me, but I'm not all that eager to help third parties find their targets.

Let me just ask you this bluntly- do you currently have a wincon at all?
Yes. I win when the "mafia" are kicked out of school or no longer a problem.

Tiruin:
"I'm busy reading up, ma'am. Leafsnail is more..detailed in his posts. WHile he and I don't see eye-to-eye, Toaster's recent activity just screams of 'I want you gone' for reasons more pointed towards malevolent intentions than not. I'll get that info later. Just you wait.

"While waiting, try some noodles I got. Also, why are you putting those two as your question there?

"...Why're you going to fall from the sky tonight yet you're with us in class today? Yes this is a serious question."

That's interesting, because I felt exactly the opposite way after reading through both their posts. Leafsnail's guilty of pretty heavy tunneling on both days so far, aside from potshots he took at Dariush.

Leafsnail:
SECOND, I would like to know who Leafsnail and Dariush visited (if anyone) and whose silhouettes they saw, as they're the ones I'm most suspicious of at this juncture.
Why?  This seems like a suspiciously specific and not very useful request.
1. Because if anyone saw you, they'd be able to verify your story.
2. Because if you were at either of the victim's houses (Phantom or Vector), you're a suspect.
3. Because if you say you weren't at either of the victim's houses, someone might be able to contradict that.
4. Because it denies you the chance to come up with a lie later on down the road.

Although now I'm only interested in you and not Dariush.

Your scumhunting this game has been particularly terrible. You may have talked to the people you were voting for a lot, but there was no attempt on your part to push for more information. Once you'd landed your vote on them, you just spent your time explaining why you were voting them and further fortifying your case.

Blaming Lenglon for trying to tie up the vote when she had asked questions trying to figure out whether or not to do so and had not been given advice on the matter is particularly bad, especially since you didn't offer any advice of your own until AFTERWARDS, even though you were available at the time.

What you did to Ranger was worse, though. You basically voted to lynch him because he was confused about whether or not revealing his house number was a good idea or not.

I'm pretty much totally convinced you're scum at this point.

Toaster:
"And to note on that death thing..it seems like Soli-san is tied to Phantom-san. He followed her, if you'd note the last declaration by our principal...But I'd really like to know how those aren't 'town-aligned'.
If that's not a cult, I'll eat my proverbial hat.
It's not a cult. They were sharing a house.

Birdy51/zombie urist/various:
He can be third party. He can also be mafia and not have access to the mafia-kill. He might be able to bully from space, despite not having a vote.
You've got me on the possibility of him being a third party. That is one dynamic that hasn't been explored yet. However, I am still not entirely set on the whole "bullies from space" business. That concept feels a bit absurd to me.
It would be incredibly overpowered for me to be able to bully people from space for two nights with no risk of being lynched. That would essentially allow me to waste three days of the town's time. Even if you caught me on the first night, there's nothing you'd be able to do about it.

Also, there's the part where if I'm scum, then my D3 ability is a bonus scum kill, and I'd have the scumteam to give me information about where to strike. Really, nothing about my role makes much sense if I'm scum.

I'm not third party, but I almost certainly am (or was) a target for somebody else's wincon.

Small Claims

Student #[NQT] wakes with a start from a sneaky snooze beneath a book.

"Oh! There were some things I wanted to say. POTL-san was Cool Boots-chan (the one I talked about yesterday) and lived in house 1. I was redirected there on night one.
Interesting Note: The fact that you didn't see Solifuge there means he visited someone else's house on Night 1. I wonder if anyone saw him(her).

"Miss Leafsnail-san, I went to your house last night and it was FUCKING TERRIFYING. Explanations please."
I am now even more convinced that Leafsnail is scum. (I still don't have a vote)

FYI, if he doesn't get lynched or give a satisfactory explanation by the end of the day, give me his house number and I'll take him down tonight.

Ford: Why the utter silence yesterday?
Burn-out and real life anxieties got the better of me. I'm back now.

Toaster for the moment. Reasoning comes tonight. I'd want to prod him and ZU on their basis on voting Cado yesterday.
Why Toaster and not, say, Leafsnail?

Anyways, I have answers to some questions.
- When I crash down, everyone will notice AND they'll all know which house I hit. (I was completely wrong on that point)
- The person who lives in the house will be evicted. No one else will be harmed, even if they are visiting that house at the time.

Captain Ford: Tonight is when you fall grandly from the sky in a blaze of glory. This is the chance for us to turn this game around and kill a scum player. How can we help you with your descent?
This is indeed the night, but what makes my one-shot kill any better than the lynch?

As for how to help me, any information that would improve my odds of hitting scum is beneficial.

FIRST of all, if anyone has visited a house belonging to either of the two who were driven out by bullies and witnessed whoever pulled it off, you should speak up now.

SECOND, I would like to know who Leafsnail and Dariush visited (if anyone) and whose silhouettes they saw, as they're the ones I'm most suspicious of at this juncture.

If there's a cop out there who could point to a house and say there's DEFINITELY scum living there, that would, of course, be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

Also unvote, RangerCado.  His increasing reluctance to give out his house number makes no sense given his claimed role, which would require people to know his house number in order for him to have a meaningful chance of winning or being useful.
Oh god you must be fucking joking.

house 11.

Speaking of which, now that I know that, I'd like to point out that Ranger is playing his role completely wrong. He's legitimately handling this very poorly.

Him leaving the game is not in our best interests, therefore, we should not allow any town males to go to his house, now that we know which one it is. There is no point in lynching him, unless you disbelieve his claim.

PPE: Ranger

Oh wait you're third party never mind. Un-imaginary-vote.

I'd been holding onto that for about a week and completely didn't connect those two dots until just now.

Oh whoops. Meant to post this first.

Speaking of which, I'm satisfied that claiming now is the right thing to do.
Based on what?
Based on the stuff that's come up so far today.

Actually in retrospect I didn't really think it all the way through. There is an argument that it would have been better for me to just play the lottery and smash into a house picked at random. I might still do that.

But hey, this is enough time for people to figure out how to react to it and plan around it. It can't be dodged or evaded, unless there's a player that can steal houses or something.

Do they leave the game after eviction? Does it matter if you smash into town/scum/3rd party houses? Can you control which house you smash into?
To be clear, "eviction" is my wording. Toony was very clear that whoever was living in that house is out of the game. And yes, I have total control over which house I crash into. And I can choose not to smash into a house and simply eliminate myself from the game, but I don't see a compelling reason to do that.

Toony also noted that I can be killed on the night I arrive.

Also, Ranger. Your vote on Lenglon SUCKED.

@Captain Ford: Will your action be publically visible?  Ask ToonyMan if you don't know.
Asking. My personal guess is that you'll all see me streaking down out of the sky but you won't know exactly what house I hit. (I mean seriously, that would make a lot of noise, there's no way you'd all miss it)

Also:

The one interesting thing about Ranger's wincon is that if he spends the night alone with a male bully, he won't win. We could theoretically use this to identify scum.

"Sounds like you know a lot more about your own role, huh my Captain?"
Oh, I know every detail about my role. It was never a mystery to me.

Speaking of which, I'm satisfied that claiming now is the right thing to do.

I'm the Satellite(L). I don't have a house. I cannot vote or be voted, and I cannot take any actions at night.

On Night 3, I will fall to earth and smash into someone's house. They will be evicted (or possibly killed) and I will take their place. Thereafter, I will be a vanilla townie.

Other than that I'm a vanilla townie.

...and so, since I can't visit people at night, I need other people to help me figure out my target. (But we can wait to discuss that until Day 3)

Imp:

Imperial Guardsman - Nerjin has left a bad taste in my mouth. How do you taste? What are your views of Nerjin. Specifically, I'm curious as to what you think of vote mania but I'm curious about your general reads. What do you think of PotL, Tiruin and Solifuge.
Ah, I think Nerjin-san is a big stupid head. Why would he leave us? was he a stupid bully? And i think they are all good people! Except Tiruin-san. Hes a bit on the mean side, De Arimasu! (amidoingitright
Reading this post caused me physical harm.

You just called Nerjin a bully. The person you replaced. Why would you do that?

Captain Ford: What's your view on Mr. Squeaky Clean Townie?
I don't like the fact that Nerjin left his vote on Lenglon while he attempted to scumhunt Dariush and Deathsword, and I really don't like that he never renewed or updated his case on Lenglon after the close call.

I don't doubt that he's busy or that he had internet trouble though. Judging by the techniques he was using, he was trying really hard to find someone else to attack, and he failed to accomplish much of anything before day end.

I think he was burned-out and exhausted from the Great Temple. He's dropped a lot of scumtells, but they also read as "I can't think straight, arrgghhh".

...I have him down as null leaning town, I suppose.

Fucking called it.

Nerjin, why did you bully Vecooster away?
Because double kill that's why. Seriously though I had nothing to do with it.

Request Replacement I just cannot keep up with this work-load. Sorry guys. Love the flavor, love all of you but... I can't keep up.
Wait what now? Double kill? Then you had nothing to do with it?

..What. I smell tactical retreat.
[/quote]
Double Kill = Vector + Jim. It's a joke.

Ranger:
I have no idea what happens to the Boy.
You should ask Toony then. Then let us know.

If 2 more people ask for my house number, i'll give.
Actually, hang on. I just realized you may have a point about being an easy kill if you reveal your house number. It depends on how exactly the bullies choose their targets.

However, if you get visited by a town male and then you both leave, it hurts town a lot. Claiming your house would prevent that.

Do you realize that scum want you to win? That would take out one (or two, if you take your man with you) of their enemies in addition to their NK.

You're anti-town in the sense that town shouldn't try to let you win.  You have no more motivation to help town if you're out of the game.  You do have motivation to help us.  We have no motivation to help you.  Therefore, we should do all that's in your power to screw you over, and get one more ally for town.
Okay, most of this makes sense. Ranger winning hurts town. He doesn't actually have anything in the way of useful information to offer us. We really don't have any motivation to help him.

We don't really want to screw him over, though. It's not worth our time.

And I really don't understand the "get one more ally for town" part.

Can we vote Ford today?
No you cannot.

Ranger:
Spoiler: Speculation (click to show/hide)

I'm claiming a pro-town third-party role. Didn't think it smart to claim day 1, (look how that ended last time) so i waited. (plus my win-con just got harder, so better to help you guys)
What makes you pro-town rather than self-interested? If you win, you leave the game, which puts us closer to LYLO.

What happens to the man you spend the night alone with? Does he leave the game with you?

Also you should go ahead and claim your house.

*sigh* i actually thought that my test worked. Jeez Lenglon you've dug your own grave. You've said many times you were trying for a no-lynch, then that you didn't care, and back again. Your actions have deteriorated well after last deadlines fiasco, which you should have improved from not the opposite. Your townie actions are completely destroyed by the amount of scum tells you've dropped. Vote Lenglon.
Explain these scumtells.

This is an incredibly vague argument you're making here.

The picking of powers went pretty well -- except that Nerjin misunderstood his Renewal ability, and didn't pick it because of that. Which is too bad because that would have saved his bacon and changed the outcome of the game.

I certainly have ideas for an Elements 3. I think I could balance it well for 8 or 9 players.

OOH! I just had an excellent idea. I'll sketch it out a bit further and then post it here.

Ending flavor and links to the chats will follow soon ... I've been stuck trying to figure out what a showdown between fire and water would look like but I think I've got it now.

Quick post. Ranger. I feel that is dumb. He can not be voted. Something that he did hint at a while ago however is that there is a catch, as in, the state he is currently in will be lost after a day or so  many posts. In the end, I feel like it is getting way to close to the end of the day to just be speculating on what fords role is. To me you just look like you are role fishing. Now stop doing pointless posts and votes like that and do something productive. What you just did made you suddenly huge jump from confirmed town to neutral.
Why on earth were you regarding Ranger as confirmed town?

Ranger: Removing my name from the not voting area would provide mod-confirmation of my inability to vote. If NQT's name was actually removed from the not voting area in Magic Mafia, I would consider that to be a mistake on Webadict's part.

GriffyPup:[/b] Everyone during that time acted in a panicked frenzy from my perspective, but to give a straight answer, I will not be basing my vote on anything that happened there since both were voting eachother, each was technically trying to save themselves.
This is untrue. Nerjin attempted to direct the vote towards lynching himself when he had the chance, and towards lynching Lenglon when he had the chance. Nerjin was attempting to avoid a tie, while Lenglon was attempting to create one.
