how about we keep daylight savings but remove timezones

then everyone's happy, right?

or how about we have regular daylight savings events where the clock changes arbitrarily, but at least everyone's clocks are always set to the same time

Having a super low LoS seems less than useful because you could easily get cornered/find yourself next to an ogre or something else that hits really hard (or a super out of depth monster) with no warning.

I kind of want to see a visual indicator for fleet capacity, it's kind of opaque right now.

Also I found a bug. I started the game and went afk (and switched tabs) for a while and came back to find spam about a colony having problems. When I pressed OK I had about half a second before a new one showed up, which made the game unplayable because it blocked the UI. It stopped when the colony finally left.

Yeah, I also prefer communicating either by text or face-to-face (or by video chat when that's not possible). Texting allows me room for expression by varying not just words but also punctuation, spellings (for example, wat vs. what), and by adding emoticons as necessary. Face-to-face allows me to speak (which isn't just words but also things like inflections) and also allows for body language to communicate things like smiles and being interested in what the other person has to say. Speaking by phone chops out all the important nonverbal things and always feels funny. And depending on the phone it might cost a lot more than other choices.

Has anyone else noticed that ghosts have pumpkin heads for Halloween?

I think the main issue is the mid to late game when things stop changing but (at least on harder difficulties) it's still important to keep going on lots of missions.
