*Facepalm* Okay, I'm going to explain again. I have neither WinRAR nor WinZip on my computer. I can still create compressed, zipped folders by right clicking. What part of this do you not get? I am not calling you stupid, I am irritated yes but not to the point of wanting to insult people. And for the record I refuse to put either Win programmes onto my computer for three reasons:

1. I have no need to install WinZip to create zipped folders and I have no need to install WinRAR as I do not use, create or download .rar files.
2. However trustworthy the programmes may seem, in the past my laptop's Norton Security has always flagged up issues with the program WinRAR. I am not going to take a chance on a program that is not necessary for me to play DF.
3. I was quite capable of putting my files into a zipped folder, using the features that are packed in with Windows, and putting them onto mediafire the moment my turn ended. Now obviously I haven't downloaded every turn of this Fort, but surely one of the previous turns was also available to download in a .zip form, as mine was, rather than a .rar or .7zip or similar which requires a third party program to access.

So, and forgive how irritable I am being, it is not entirely intentional, I implore you to try again. I am not asking you to install WinZip, nor buy it. Just take the files directly from the saved games folder, highlight them, move them to a zipped folder following the right click menu and put them on the file sharing website of your choice. Please. It should take you no more than a minute.

If you cannot then I implore other members of this Succession game who HAVE the WinRAR program and fully understand what I am talking about to do it for him, so that I may carry on with my turn.

Sorry I've been gone for a while now. I've been preoccupied. Don't worry though I'll update the front page when I can, I'm going to have to read through the updates first mind you.

Where have I been? Well I've been getting a job, sorting out stuff for university and I am down right determined to finish Dark Souls at least once before the sequel is released, so yeah.

Oh and forgetting the password to my account, that was fun too.

Edit: Okay guys we are writing WAY too much, so much so that both my and Mataro's turn have been removed from the front page to shrink the message down below forum restrictions. This isn't a bad thing, frankly the more you write the better. To remedy this issue I have cut/paste the first two turns to a word processor, so the information is saved, and I will keep documenting what happens in the fortress. Once the first rotation is over I will (probably) upload a completed file complete with pictures to download, alongside the fortress, and update it for each subsequent rotation. Oh and Exodius you're turn is fine, it's sad hearing about Fowl's computer but these things happen.

Yeah sure, you can join, and don't worry about grammar and stuff, I can easily edit that. To answer your question, you claim a free dwarf at the start of your turn. So when you load up the save file just select a dwarf without a nickname and give him/her/it your name. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Put them in the thread and I'll quote them, or just stick them into the .zip file when you're done, I'll download it and add the report. DFFD is still giving me issues, it won't let me upload pictures for whatever reason so I may end up using a Tumblr page or something. And I realize the fortress is quite small in retrospect but hey, all (or most) of the dwarves have a bed, there are plenty of tables, chairs, food and alcohol, so they can't really complain that much.
