Another one I miss is being able to limit a workshop to people above/below a certain skill level, and last used construction material being at the top of the list when you go to build again.
I am pretty sure that these are DFHack-provided features, not present in vanilla game.

DF General Discussion / Re: ASCII or Tileset Use
« on: January 26, 2023, 08:45:38 am »
Prior to steam release I exclusively used ASCII (standard curses_800x600). In steam version I use default graphics, because for some reason I couldn't get used to the new interface (map is ok) in ASCII.

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: Steam version wagon accessibility?
« on: December 13, 2022, 12:16:59 am »
Do you get an actual notification like "wagons have bypassed your inaccessible site"? I remember Toady said in one of the interviews that in Steam version you don't get wagons until your site has a baron.

Really!? When did STEAM add the option to back up your installers so that you can use your games at any time without having internet access?

Right. Never.

Until it does that, it is STEAM-DRM.

You mean like this -> https://imgur.com/a/QZ8P9iD ?

They've also been called region tiles, although region tiles have also been used for a different level. Because of the risk for confusion, I've decided to adopt the terminology Toady provided when asked. I tried searching for Toady's answer, but failed to find it, though (I'm not very compatible with either the board or bug tracker search functions).
I think this is the answer you are talking about (it's from FotF 08.2017)

Oh? How do i do that?
Just send undesirable dwarves on a mission. You don't need dfhack for that.

Maybe someone can guess the model of this Toshiba laptop :P
It's an old photo though, from the report dated 8th of February 2014

Anyway, after months and months we finally have a working 64-bit DF (from what I've seen). Barring any other bug reports it might be time to poke the relevant channels like the OP and the LNP to have this included. Congrats. :)

Is it true? Link please!

OMG, u people are so lazy ::)

Okay I'm confused by DT every time I even consider looking at it, again... I'm not even sure where I got the current version I have... So who is really maintaining the code for this now and where can I get the most recent version of DT for DF x64 43.05.... confusion ensues when I read the posts here.
As far as I know, right now nobody is really maintaining DT. For the most recent version, I think you can found it in this post (maybe there is newer one but I'm not sure) or this post (but I don't know if it's working).

So... maybe the OP should be updated? Are people supposed to read 200 pages of the thread to see if their version is supported?
DT's maintainer (splinterz) last visited this forum February 04, 2017, 07:21:25 am. No one else (except Toady maybe) can edit the OP.
So deal with it.

Move cursor to desired tile and use dfhack's spotclean command
