DF Suggestions / Multiple stockpile take froms

Why can't we have two stockpiles take from one stockpile?
I want to have all my little stone stockpiles take from all the bigger ones.
Right now I have a chain of stockpiles, which creates an obscene amount of unnecessary hauling jobs.

Please add this feature in, it would simplify things greatly.

I thought of this just now, so it may not be that thought out.

What about plagues? Diseases? Pandemics? Colds in the winter?

Sometimes it seems like dwarves are hard to kill unless they are physically attacked by another creature: But what about diseases spreading?

Goblins might bring germs they are immune to but you are not. Sick people must be quarantined, killed, or treated.

This would also be another reason to have a doctor job, so he can make vaccines, medicine, and he can treat minor colds and such.

Oh yeah, I thought of this because I'm sick right now (bleh).

My current idea was to add doctors, which can treat patients to make them heal faster, and talk with them (they get happy thoughts from the company).

I second the motion.

Building corners to buildings is a pain in the ass, especially for towers (4 extra floors and then deconstructions for every level of the tower).

It shouldn't be that hard to make, if movement is doable.

I could REALLY use this.

I tend to be a very industrious player, and idlers will not be tolerated. I hate having to check every kitchen, brewering, ashery, wood furnace, smelter, forge, etc all the time to keep stuff moving.

This would be great.

This would kick ass. I would love just being able to pop in, spawn 300 axe dwarfs that never get hungry or thirsty or sleepy, and have them massacre 100 marks goblins.


Or just make a giant platform, put hundreds of peasants and nobles on it, and watch them fall 10 levels, and see who survives.

This would also be incredibly useful to test theories, physics, etc to see what works and what doesn't.

I hate nobles.

You all do too, I bet even Toady dreams of killing them.

The only nobles I like are the Mayor and the Captain of the Guards, because they actually do stuff.

However, the only reason I hate them all is that they make stupid and useless mandates, then beat the booze out of people when I don't give them 3 adamantine querns or whatever.

I think an option to turn off mandates and export bans would clear things up rather nicely.

Killing them is a hassle and it stops immigration, which I like.

That would be a really nice feature.

It would at least make all soldiers able to actually use their mass strength, instead of attacking the enemy 2 at a time.

Nobles should crawl everywhere, and can only eat the left over food, and they can't wear armor, and they should be killed on sight, and bleed, and BUUUUURRRRRN!!!!!!
